    I think these videos are very informative, love his voice, he doesnt waste time with nonsense talk. Every minute is educational and the information he shares here is priceless. He seems very knowledgeable and has much info to share. I have always wanted to make the infused oil and now know I can double the strength of my infused oil by infusing it again by adding the fresh herbs to the already infused oil. I think his series of videos are the top of the best I have seen on youtube on this subject. Thank you so much!!

    A tip to make the oil last much longer without going rancid is adding a tiny bit of calcium EDTA, it is a type of vinegar which comes in a powder. It is a very good heavy metal chelator to take internally, and clinics do IV's of them for people that need to remove heavy metals from the body faster. So it is very safe and not like a toxic chemical preservative. It is also heavily used in many commercial products to keep oils/fats from going rancid.

    A lot of the olive oils in the states are rancid. Learned this a while back since there's not a big push for regulation in the oil industry. You especially have to be wary of brands that don't have a harvest date on the oil (this is different from expiration date since olive oil can sit in warehouses for months to years before hitting the market).

    • @Lavenderrose73
      @Lavenderrose73 7 років тому +2

      Whoa shoot, that's good to know! Maybe I'll stick with Almond Oil for something like this.

    • @nightscape2008
      @nightscape2008 7 років тому +3

      I've heard that olive oil is considered "fresh" if the harvest date is within two years. If you don't see that harvest date on the product, it really makes you wonder!

Or do it separately and combined the infused oil at the end? Love your clear directions by the way, it really helps :)

    Oh, and btw, the massage cream I made by learning how to do so on your other video I got lots of thumbs up from the peeps I shared it with.
