    🔴NEW Okra recipe:
    ua-cam.com/video/D_KYuT8axrc/v-deo.html
How easy it is to cook okra you won't believe until you see this recipe. So far this is how we made the tastiest and easiest recipe on the internet. The last okra recipe which we did a few years ago had good feedback from most of the viewers apart from few which we addressed in this video and made this upgraded okra recipe. Hope you like it too. Thank you.

I add dice tomatoes after the onions so there's no single slimy for about three minutes before I put the okra and rest ingredients.... smell so good and beautiful presentation. You did a good job.

@@welovefoods - I'm a "refrigerator cook" meaning i pull out whatever is in the fridge and cook it and hope. But as for the okra, i cut into 1/2" - 3/4" sections, roll them around in a pan with enough oil to coat them well. Salt, pepper or whatever spice you like - fry until just before they get pretty blackened. Take 'em out, put them on paper towels to degrease. i like to sprinkle a little "Frank's Louisiana Hot Sauce because it's not too hot and for me the vinegar brings out flavor. As they say in Deutchland, "Gut essen!'

    Excellent preparation,
    Well spoken and clear specifications
    Great dish
    But Please!
"don't burn the onion and garlic"
    Not only doesn't look good
But they can also taste different if they are "black"
    Although; I've never tasted okra,
But the way you've prepared, not only looks (yummy)
But it looks and sounds (delicious)

I grew up eating many different okra dishes. My favorite being okra and stewed tomatoes and shrimp. I lived in Afghanistan for a while and they made a similar dish with okra minus the shrimp and it was DELICIOUS. I'm going to try this one as well. It looks so good.
Also to remove slime from okra try baking it for about 20 minutes or less to dry out the membrane. This also gives it a very unique texture that I enjoy.

I've grown up eating okras cooked like this, and a few different ways. I visit these sites to see the different ways that other people cook the same vegetables etc. Sometimes I also learn a few things.
I've been cooking since I was 12 years old, and am now 63. My mom was a very good cook; she taught me to cook, make cakes, and many other things.
I make my own breads, cakes, rotis, yogurt, ghee, cheese, coconut oil, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, almond milk, and apple cider vinegar. I also make my own cucumber pickles, beet pickles, and many other things.

Once I have tried to cook them on my own and it was a disaster. It came out something slimy and not beautiful like yours. Watching you it looks you don't use to much water to clean them up. Is that the "secret"? Please help 😊

Hi, glad to see you here in our little foodie family. I had similar questions in the past mostly related to slime. Then we made this recipe for anyone who wants something more simple ua-cam.com/video/D_KYuT8axrc/v-deo.html How ever we don’t add any extras water. You may dry the okra after washing but I don’t think it’s necessary. Little bit water on the okra from washing may make is slightly moist. But the secret of mine is start the cooking in high flame 🔥, do all you staring right ar the beginning and once its mixed with the spice let it cook on low to medium heat and no staring if needed just fold carefully so they don’t become mashy. Hopefully it will help you, if you need any help next time just feel free to as, I will be happy to answer. Thank you.

sister next time you cook, try without water, do not cover the lid, its a big no for okra fry, keep medium flame this will remove the stickiness. after some time you will loose stickiness, then put low flame for long, then you will get the south indian style fry. Also I think reduce to one onion if your making a fry.

wow....95% things are same to what we do in north india. the only difference is instead of adding the water we add few chopped tomatos and few more spices in it.
also we keep the width of chopped okra small so that spices and salt will reach inside the okra easily.
your recipe is also very interesting. have you tried spice stuffed whole okra bhaji ???
