Rarran doesn’t seem to get that historically value generation is insanely good in arena. He picked like the best option every time because “oh no what if I give him a 7 mana 6/8”
I was face palming pretty hard
To be fair in this format where the cards get worse, a 7 mana 6/8 is way stronger than in normal arena since running out of value is a bigger threat. But yeah he really made a lot of suboptimal picks.
Rarren needs to learn how to play hearthstone
This idea has so much potential, imagine getting players like kripp to play with this setup
The salt would be glorious.
If the vids are gonna be this long, they should have at least 2 drafts, watching the same deck gets boring, especially if one is obviously inferior to the other

@@hr329085the drake is way worse than paparazzi. Like removing a minion is sometimes good, but paparazzi gives you a card that is way better than the shlock that each player is picking

I feel like half the time Rarran is picking the best card like he was playing normally. Swashburglar which is a 1 1/2 and essentially "draw a card" over a 2 mana give a minion +2 attack??

we are gonna draft the worst arena deck. istantly pick the second best class in heartstone while priest is an option
you could unironically post one of these every day and i would watch them for weeks without getting bored
I have to say, I am interested in if you can make content out of constructed horrible decks.
You could play all high mana, or try to make a deck that cannot deal 30 damage.
Or something more advanced.
I have thought about it, you can make horrifying decks but I think this adds such a fun dynamic
You could look at Mark's decks for ideas...
I mainly watch Eddy, but the more I watch Rarran the more I realize that he's just Eddy, but the UA-camr faces™️ he makes is unironic.
I love this idea. It is so much fun to show how deck construction knowledge can go both ways.

I think it would be interesting to draft something like rogue and try to pick as close to 0 minions as possible. You might have some good spells but good luck winning with dagger and a couple burn spells.
Hey Rarran,
While watching "Hearthstone, but you MUST play your top decked card", I had an idea which I think would be cool!
Essentially, the two players would draft their decks for a best of 3, 5 or 7 format. Then, you would use an online spinner wheel to randomly choose the rule, I.E. you must play your top decked card, your left or rightmost card, odd cost card, even cost card, odd or even number position in your hand and so forth, very uninspired given what you did in the video, but it's what came to mind first.
I feel as though this could be really cool, as it prevents both you and your opponent from having an unfair advantage if they know what the rule is beforehand, while still making everyone aware of the possible restrictions. Plus, I feel it might foster some wonderful hijinks where both players have at least one deck that is horribly mismatched to the special rule.

wouldnt be fun if instead of building a deck of arena, you only can give the opponent a deck which you have succesfully won a ladder game, you would have a time stamp of an hour to try to win the ladder game with the worst deck possible but ot has to be strong enough to win a single game. Then you duel with the one the opponent did. I think it would be really fun

I would like to see this as like a two part series where you each make the new decks on the other person's account. Then you go back to your account and each time you win you are able to swap out one card for the duel against the other person

If I was choosing cards for rogue, I would hard grab all the card draw, make it so he's constantly filling up his hand with more cards that are hard to get rid of.
This shows you have no understanding of arena xd In that funky format value is always a primary win condition so you should have written "so he fatigues himself". Filling up hand with bad cards it's just so ridicolous to say. Rarran's draft was insanely dumb but your comment beats it easily :D

Note I didn't say bad cards, I said cards that are hard to get rid of, I meant that in a way to say that his hand would be filled with cards that add new cards to his hand, hopefully draw cards since generation, even random generation could be dangerous to give to the opponent. While yes he would have options, I've played duels enough to know that when you have 5+ cards that add more cards to your hand, it can be excruciating to try and play anything.@@crystallized1676

Rarran actually should have try this format/setup with Zeddy Hearthstone honestly and lets see what is his reactions later when he see this kind of game, the previous one (with beast synergies but no beast). It is gonna be hilarious!
I'm guessing Rarran doesn't play arena. The death of an Arena deck is having too much late game, not too much early game. You can go 3|3 or even 4|3 with having too much early game and then playing with the discovered cards.

Hearthstone Horse video idea! you claim a challenge (I'm going to cast a 10 cost card, draw 3 cards In a turn, play a minion of each type etc.) and try to complete it in a game of hearthstone, but if they complete the objective first they win the letter!

24:21 You did miss lethal with the gong. You needed to not attack with the Tram Operator. Attack with face + target his face with Freebooter + then attack with Scarab Gong. 6+2+1=9 exact lethal.
The beastless beast deck was a sure fire win.

You have been trying new card games, so why not all of them at once!
I think I'd just try to mess up their curve by picking low and focusing on maybe 2 mana cost so that they run out of steam real quick.
All expensive cards would be better but it looks like theres too many choices without a high cost card

He would actualy win if he didnt attack minion with hero at the end cuz he would have 3hp more, so 4, and then hp into 6, -3 trade into boomer, and be out of range for rogue hp. Sure topdeck lethal would be up for question but if not, he wins
