      It's an ungodly boring job. They sit you at a desk and you read all day long. For 12+ hours a day 6-7 days a week.
      They have you reading contracts as a greenhorn. You're reading every single contract that comes in but you're reading it for any issues or corrections. You're looking anything you can exploit or be used against you. You then provide briefs for higher ups on them. Day in day out for YEARS.
      This isn't like turn your brain off reading either. You have to be able to maintain focus and actually understand and read them. It's why the bonuses and burnout rate is so high.
      The unironic part is this will be one of the first aspect of law to be taken up by AI.
      They read faster than you, learn faster, and spot nuance and it's only getting better.
      The only reason it doesn't work for legal stuff right now is because lawyers are shitting themselves.
      Most of the things people need lawyers for can be done by AI.
      Even if you do need a trial lawyer most of their behind the scenes work can still be done by AI.

    I do not think it matters WHAT field you go into. You will have to WORK. The question is what is your passion. People who have YT channels and see successful can pursue money as well and get caught up in serving money and a lifestyle. The key is finding what works for you and go be excellent in that path. Always remember never sell your soul and you rule money don’t let it rule you.
    I am pretty sure their are Corporate Lawyers who work for themselves. So if you have a entrepreneurial path, open up your own law firm and be your own boss as a Corporate Lawyer.

    • @bendavidson1210
      @bendavidson1210 21 день тому

      Those jobs go to the cream of the crop, you need to have excellent credentials and grades and interview very well. Only a few schools will place over 20% of the class in them regularly. Everyone else makes around 70k maximum the salary scale is very bimodal. Other than that In the US a law degree is a professional degree that comes after your undergrad degree so firms and companies are willing to pay more. On the other hand, law school here is very expensive and can cost around 300k without scholarships. There are some firms in the UK that can start you at 151k after two years as a trainee

    Wow that's around the same salary my wife makes. And she isn't 100k+ in debt or has to work more than 40 hours a week for it.

    Too bad she left out the fact that corporate lawyers work minimum 80 hours per week thus u can cut her actual salary in half based on time worked and then she was in the 35% tax bracket if not more because working outside the US and having your housing subsidized is not free.
    But don’t worry she’s making it up by having u people watch her UA-cam channel… LOL

    You’re making more as a UA-camr but that should be tax exempt because it’s public service.
