If he has a single channel, that means he's been using it on the duster. Single channel is good but dual channel is better as it takes care of fuel and boost and not just one. Since you don't know the difference in driving experience, I'd suggest don't buy the single channel. Drive the car around and once you feel it's underpowered, you can go get a ecu tune from either etuners, code6 etc. it will come in the same price as the dual channel box.

Hey, sinces it's new, you can go ahead with either a tune or piggy pack ecu without worries of parts breaking but I would suggest waiting until 10k kms for its first service. 1. Black smoke won't start now, it might after you have done over 50k.kms but shouldn't if you are maintaining it well. Newer cars having dpf regeneration system should avoid black smoke. 2. I never faced any issues but honestly I recommend getting a ecu tune instead of a piggy back ecu. Go with a trusted tuner like code6, etuners etc. they will guide you better with what your car needs and what the performance figures will be and about warranty details as well. 3. Warranty void might happen since newer cars have all parameters logged, a good scanner will be able to pick up alteration in the fuel and boost changes even after you remove the plug and play system and since you will have engine warranty for sometime, I don't think it's the best idea. But as I said, I'm not an expert in this, so going to a tuning shop is better as they will give you options to tune without losing warranty. Hope this helps

Should I not be worried about wear and tear of parts by this routine after installation of Dieseltronic? Also cant wait untill 10k kms as my father finds it too irritating while driving and that in turn gets me scolding 😄 . So A stupid question to you,can I trust KIA or any new modern car that there wont be any other problems not because of Dieseltronic but manufacturing issues popping up for warranty? But is it really possible fo coders to tune it without losing the warranty? Am surprised. If yes its a big wow for me. Do engineers in ASS will be able to drill through much about Dieseltronic. Heard most work in a guided manner and there isn't enough tools or tech to dig in that much as per one of my reliable coder.

@@karthikrtr7114 there won’t be any wear and tear of parts coz of Dieseltronic or tuning. They usually don’t cross the limit or even get close to the limit of what these engines can do. It’s just a safe tune that they provide in piggy back as well as tuning so you needn’t work on those aspects. I’m really not sure about warranty and if it will be void which is why I suggest asking a professional tuner regarding the same or getting in touch with the guys are race dynamics. Dieseltronic is a standardised tune which has been there from a long time. I feel the tuners understand the car and tune accordingly which is why for new car I suggested getting a tune. What the tuners do is, they give you a switchable map which will put you back to stock when you send for service and they won’t know anything. This is what I’ve heard, you need to research more on this.

I did not transfer the kit to the 320d. The bimmer is already an excellent performer. Even with the DT kit on the Cruze, it was nowhere close to how the bimmer performs. After DT there was a substantial change in performance of Cruze though. Thank you 😃

ECU remapping and piggy back ecu like the Diesel Tronic are 2 separate things. You can’t club the 2. Stage 2 is way more power generating than the diesel Tronic. You can go for the stage 2 map if your car has been showroom maintained and the condition is top notch otherwise please don’t go for it as the smoke increases drastically in these Chevy vehicles and also the engine becomes weak and there is a chance of engine seizure.

Hi, haven’t swapped the gearbox. It’s the stock 4 speed one that comes from the factory. The engine itself was 75k, swapping that came up to 1.2l as the crown pinions had to be changed and wiring had to be done.

@@amirbhat472 honestly everyone in the family feels that the pull is much better than the fortuner. We have the 1st gen full time 4wd fortuner and maybe that’s why. I’ve driven the latest fortuner as well and still felt that this has a better initial kick. In terms of comfort, it is definitely comfortable and very stable even though there is slight body roll. In simple terms, if I had to pick between a fortuner and a Pajero Sport, I’d choose Pajero any day.

Im getting pajero Sport 2014 model for 7.00 Lacs with 91k kms done? Is it a good buy? Also Sir what about mileage with Ac on in city and Highway?

@@amirbhat472 that's a great price. Just make sure it is maintained we'll. These cars don't break easily so you needn't worry much. The mileage mostly depends on driving and we get around 11kmpl in the city and 13kmpl on highways. Again we haven't checked it tank full to tank full till now. Just a ball park figure after owning it for so long.
