Literaly couldn’t imagine brining all the plants to the sink 🤣! Thank you for watching!! Also my Hoya Compacta is doing so well I keep her in the cabinet thank you again!
@plantlifelex I look forward to it! You're teaching a lot of us, great tips, etc... I hope to retire in a few years but want to have income coming in too, so I take notes when you talk GF. Your parents must be so proud of your business savvy!
Awesome video! Love your transparency; you share so much about the plant business & your new gadgets. Waiting for the growing season to place my orders. Thanks for sharing Lex!
Thank you so much Carol! Thanks for always being here and supporting! Growing season will be here before we know can you believe January is almost over 😅
I love the camper shower you purchased. I've been looking for a way to spray down my plants without having to traipse across the house to get to a shower. Great idea.
Oh I also wanted to mention a tip for the clear pots. You can put them in the dishwasher! To reuse them, scrub first with a little dish soap and a toothbrush to remove the old soil and/or mineral build up. Then put them in the dishwasher, top rack, to completely sanitize.
@@kyrad6543that is super smart never thought of that 😮! I usually just hand wash them when I’m ready or am lazy and just use the dirty ones on my plants 😂😂
Omg especially for you with your distilled water lol. You can put all your water in a big bucket and put a lid on it and use the sprayer! Way easier !!!
You can try local garden centers and greenhouse. Sometimes they have large bags. If not definitely Amazon you can find some bags for like 20/30 bucks. Only need a little bit so it does last a while !

Your nails are cute!! Wow those Etsy fees are crazy! I have one set up but nothing on there. I been wanting to sale dog clothes 💚 long dream of mine lol 37:42 wow I should look into one of these Great video Lex!💚💚
Aww thank you I do them myself. It’s another side hobby of mine lol! I think Etsy is great for beginners because it helps you understand how e-commerce works and puts you in front of a large possible audience. I think in the long term it’s not worth it for a lot of businesses unless they just use it for traffic. You should definitely look into it and follow your dream sis. All you have to do is start ❤
@plantlifelex yes, that's what happens. You are in the middle of doing plant chores etc... So easy to forget! But you are a girl after my own heart, and you DIY'd that! 😆
@plantlifelex Im still watching but congratulations on your second full year of business and actually making money. Now that you've done your major investment for all your tools needed it's going to be downhill from here we hope!! Until you have to buy a larger space❤❤❤😅
Hello, enjoyable video as always. I know our environment is different but how often do you water? ( especially the Hoyas) I'm switching over my Hoyas to your mix & slowly getting familiar with their needs. Their all in rm. conditions, bright light & doing well. My next purchase from you will be another Hoya Williniana. But I notice they dont like any kind of cold. You're doing a fantastic job & should be proud of yourself.Always Thank yourself
Hi Dorothy! For me I always water all the plants once a week or as needed. They are all basically on a schedule since they all dry out around the same time due to the large fan in the room. I also keep my house heat between 75-80 degrees F. So the plants do not really know a difference between winter and summer. And in summer the house is usually like 70 degrees F. So not a drastic change in temperature. My mix is definitely super chunky so it can dry out faster than regular soils. I’m so glad your Hoyas are doing well! So happy to hear it! I keep the Hoyas closest to the grow lights and that helps a lot with keeping them warm. So if you have any grow lights I recommend putting tn closer and maybe further from a window until spring. When I had a bigger Hoya collection I kept them in the greenhouse cabinets to keep them warm!
Great video. I always learn something after watching 😊. What solution do you use to clean the leaves and is that little sprayer (the one you had on the table while cleaning the leaves) from Amazon too?
Stratum is amazing stuff! Roots cuttings so quickly, I highly recommend! Definitely mix with perlite to stretch it out cause it’s a little expensive. I like to mix stratum, perlite & a little vermiculite.🙂
Hi, I use pure neem oil concentrate, water and mild dish soap as a cleaner. You can get the neem oil concentrate I use from amazon here: amzn.to/3OoLIbj

Lol at the PON fiasco. I can see myself doing that. I catch myself trying to dump PON water down the drain. Noooo!
I’ll never do that again 😅!! I can’t believe I did that sometimes wasn’t thinking haha

Quick question do you add Perlite to your Soil Free Aroid Mix?
Yes there is perlite in it 🪴
Nicest looking plants anywhere! What is stratum?
It’s a type of Aquatic Soil used in fish tanks with live plants. You can research it online for some more information 😊
Fluval Stratum, many thanks! @@plantlifelex
