It was meant to be. I have a ginger cat named Oliver. He was a kitten living outside my husband's job. He was sick and my husband brought him home. He would have died if he had not been rescued. We love our little guy very much. You guys were meant to be together ❤

I have a brown and black tabby my sister found eating out of a dumpster behind her work. She was only a few weeks old, underweight, and alone.
I never had a cat before.
I've had her for 5 years now.

We all know as soon as Mom saw that tiny furbaby she knew Kurt would never become an outdoor kitty. She just said that to save face in front of her son. Saving a life is not disobedience (in my opinion).

I can tell you felt kinda bad about disobeying your mom but saving a poor kitty was the right move. Kurt is so happy and safe now thanks to you and your mom.
It was destiny. A bond like yours may come only once in a lifetime.

imagine a kitten ending up with those psychotic creeps that like to kill animals for fun. So so so irresponsible. No background checks, nothing. These animals deserve the best and it is so disheartening to see how little care some people give them.

@@ariahjames4340 Maybe, don't decide to give away vulnerable creatures at a street fair??? The humane society I volunteer at did an adoption event during pride parade and people basically filled up all the forms and consented for the background screening and the adoption coordinators worked through the list of applicants for each cat after the event and reached out to them later during the week. There is definitely ways to make this process safer. The answer is not just to give these innocent creatures away without any due diligence. We live in a world where there are sickos that do horrible things to animals, children, other vulnerable people just for fun. I would hate for people like the kitten blender guy or Luka Magnotta to get access to another innocent animal just because people didn't bother to check
On the other hand, my local shelter or group wanted 3 references and application for a cat.
I am not about to bother friends. That’s stupid.

Fr. Could’ve gave him to a shelter or a foster. It’s awful that people just dump cats outside.

I absolutely hate people like that. Take it to a shelter, if the shelter says it's to full tell them you have no choice but to let it go , the shelter will take it. Or contact a vet they often have sources for adoption.

Funny how kitties appear when a family member is absent. My Dad was in Vietnam in 1968, and when he left, we had no pets. When he came home in 1969, we had two Siamese cats. ✌️💖😸
