I used to own one and I miss him very much. I think about him and his little personality, and his sweet, loving ways nearly every day.

Once, after he grew up, he got me to come outside and help his girlfriend when she was having trouble giving birth to his kittens. So many wonderful memories. I got my first cat at 22 years of age. I had to wait till I moved out because it was a HARD no from my parents! During the subsequent 20 years, I’ve adopted 7 more, and fostered dozens of them. My life is literally filled with cats and kittens and I love it. 😻 I have turned into a cat lady in the best way possible!

I remembered about 30 years ago my sister saw these 2 Manx kittens in this one pet store. One was a cute tuxedo and the other kitten was a cute pepper grey tabby. Both were brothers. My sister was heartbroken when the grey tabby had to be put down because he had a birth defect. In June 1994 she went into another pet store and gotten a cute red tabby kitten. I was working at that time and when I first saw the red tabby kitten that I fell in loved with the fur ball. He was so tiny. I even helped in raising those 2 kittens into early adulthood. My sister put down the tuxedo Manx cat when he was almost 5 years old. I think he had birth effects when he gotten a little bit older. My sister gave me the red tabby cat before she moved towards Orlando Florida in April 1999. I had him till late March 2006. I do missed him for being a big sweetie. He wasn’t liked my 2nd cat was.
cats dont really like getting touched by their paws as they grow up, you can teach her and get her used to it but by the time she grows every week she might start to hate it and here's why, cats have a nerves in their paws (idk if i said that right lmao) meaning they get goosebumps when u touch them in their paws, like us we sometimes get a cold spot in our hip for example and if the dinner table touches it you get this weird feeling, well, thats the same for cats too.

Please reconsider allowing your kitten to be loose with you in public places. Pet carriers are for safety. I’ve seen so many lost kittens reported because they got spooked and darted away, never to be found again, and may end up being killed by a car or dog, or stolen.
oh yes! I bought her a pet carrier but she looks so uncomfortable in it so im going to get her a new one when I get more money. Do you recommend any? She is so startled and her running away is my worst nightmare. I should work on that now before she gets too old 😅
@@Beblixx I have a soft carrier that’s airline approved. It has nylon netting all around so kitty can see everything and its fleece bottom makes it soft and comfortable. My cat occasionally hops into it just to feel snuggly! You’d probably love a kitty backpack - it’s zippered and has a transparent bubble so kitty can sit upright and look at everything! You’re a good cat mommy and it’s clear you love your little baby, who is adorable!😊

I've been binging so many "adopting a kitten" videos, because I might get a kitten july 6th-5th (haven't gotten her yet because the person i'm gonna co-adopt her with is on a roadtrip) and I like this video a lot, because they're coming from a shelter, my kitten is gonna come from a shelter, but she's in foster right now, (I also plan on naming her Charlie). I like this video because it just lets me know cats are simple creatures and that adopting is the best way to go. I hope you and your kitten are doing lovely after all these months
I use Arm & Hammer Hardball cat litter. While a bit pricy it's easy to clean and even keeps the litter box clean, lasts a long time and smells good but be warned it is a strong smell for some. Also doesn't track as much as other brands, meaning you wont get as much litter outside the litter box.
I know this is a old video.but iam just watching.u should get a regular litter box.i hve a puppy liner on bottom then I put a trash bag over box.and add 1 or 2 puppy pads inside b4 the litter. That way the smells don't absorb in the box being bare with just litter.and I can also just take out the whole bag..and the like to go number beds tables ect for comfort like litter kids that make a fort with sheets.so buying a cat bed where they are in closed they like. And if u buy dry food .to stretch wet food.u can just add a little water to it as if it's wet food they normally eat.they also hve cat furniture protective things for sofa and couches ect .for when they scratch..in case of emergency I would leave food in her carrier. Like if there was a fire. U know where the carrier is plus food is already in it.better safe then❤❤❤😊😊😊😊 sorry.
My cat passed away 3 months ago, my parents didn't want me to adopt another cat (we already have other cats, my sisters'). But last month my father let me adopt one, only if I could afford it. Now I have a beautiful kitten to keep me company. I'm 26 years old and still live with my parents, so I needed their permission. But I'm SO happy!!! A cat is really missed by anyone who has had one

Just watch her and keep up on the vet visits. Your cat will tell you when she’s not feeling good if you pay enough attention because they’ll try to hide it. Kidney issues a common problem in cats, make sure there’s always access to water. There is special canned foods if kitty needs to go on a diet for the kidneys. I wouldn’t worry too much about that. Even if they do, usually it’s when they’re older and it can be managed by the vets ❤️ I have two of my own.

I don't know what to do. We recently adopted e 2 months and half kitten (he's now 3 months old) and he is absolutely FERAL most of the time. We had everything set up for his arrival, got him toys, good food and litter trained him in a couple of days, but he's always scratching us and biting us, when we play, when we just sit, even as we walk... I'm so sad because now I'm kinda afraid to get into a room when I know he's in it and I'm overwhelmed all the time (on my way to get my autism assessment btw). I cried of joy when we got him because I've always wanted a kitten since I was a kid, but now I find myself being worn out and easily angered and I try to stay at home the least I can because I don't want to be exhausted when I deal with the kitten... But I always am and I don't know what to do. None of my friends have had a kitty who acted like this, I'm clueless and I'm sad that if I don't understand why he's acting up I will find another home for him and I blame myself and feel bad because I can't understand his needs... Please, has it happened to someone else? How did you manage the situation? I'm desperate

You got a very chillaxed cat! because from my experience most cats go into a meowing fit and freak out when they get inside cars.

I got a Russian blue as well, beautiful silver blueish grey coat. They get pretty big and they’re so curious and love to climb. Energetic to the max.
I'm not sure. Usually RBs are born with blue eyes that fade to green. And I don't see striping on the tail but I coule be wrong

I don't know what to do. We recently adopted e 2 months and half kitten (he's now 3 months old) and he is absolutely FERAL most of the time. We had everything set up for his arrival, got him toys, good food and litter trained him in a couple of days, but he's always scratching us and biting us, when we play, when we just sit, even as we walk...
I'm so sad because now I'm kinda afraid to get into a room when I know he's in it and I'm overwhelmed all the time (on my way to get my autism assessment btw). I cried of joy when we got him because I've always wanted a kitten since I was a kid, but now I find myself being worn out and easily angered and I try to stay at home the least I can because I don't want to be exhausted when I deal with the kitten... But I always am and I don't know what to do. None of my friends have had a kitty who acted like this, I'm clueless and I'm sad that if I don't understand why he's acting up I will find another home for him and I blame myself and feel bad because I can't understand his needs... Please, has it happened to someone else? How did you manage the situation?

My mom also said yes, after years of asking! BUTTT now I have to convince my landlord to allow me to have a cat:( Wish me luck everyone!!

i got my own dog once i moved out of my parents house and it was the best decision i ever made. Now one year later im getting my dog a cat sister soon, i cant wait 😩

I BUGGED her for YEARSSS and eventually I got older and I could pay for everything. I think showing her how much I can take care of myself showed her I can take on the extra responsibility, but that just my mom and some could be more strict. JUST KEEP TRYING 💪🏾
