Add to your considerations, Clark county has highest sales tax, high registration fees, regular vehicle inspections/smog,high insurance rates, high property taxes, high utility rates, reliance on Colorado river water. If you are on a limited income or SS income only, there are better options. Because Las Vegas metro in same county. Other NV counties very different financial structure and lower cost except Reno area.
@@JasonWheelerProfessionalGroup Moved to mesquite 4 months ago and love it! Live in Suntero and couldn’t be happier. With our home. We only wish they would hurry up on the pool and backyard landscaping.
no homeless , every once in a blue moon drifters will show up , set up a little camp for a couple of days then you wake up in the am they're gone, mesquite pd doesn't play around. as far as drugs I have never noticed any drug addicts, once in a while you will smell pot around the casinos, but that's usually tourists. it's def geared twds retirees. it's a very slow pace. a handful of restaurants. it's not for everybody!
@@WTFunny1974mesquite pd is very observant, even patrolling areas that are meant to be closed at night such as the cemetery and parks. there’s no homeless people, they always find their way back to the big cities. drugs are in inner circles in mesquite, there’s definitely drug users in the town but they keep to themselves and their own groups. they’re not out on the streets using or disturbing/ hurting anyone. and they’re functional workers or retired and not easy to find. mesquite pd again doesn’t take that lightly. it’s a fantastic place to retire, especially if you plan on buying a house as opposed to renting one. you’re close enough to vegas for a night out or shopping, but you’re also in a smaller town where you can take a break from the chaos. you’re also right by arizona and utah, and only 10 hours from a beach trip in california!
I don’t understand why if you’re a real estate agent you would be trying to discourage people from moving to Mesquite? Is this sarcasm or some kind of game??
Hello Pamela, that is a great question and thank you for asking. As an ethical real estate agent, we have to point out the pros and the cons to each area if we are going to give information about residency in any given city or town. if you look at UA-cam channels by real estate agents, most will have pros and cons of the city or town they service. My goal is to be as transparent as possible to help anyone seeking to move to the areas that I service. I hope that explains it and you see the value of it. If there’s anything I can ever do for you please let me know. Thank you for your comment.
@@JasonWheelerProfessionalGroup thanks I understand. I am not in a position to buy anything if I do move there. But I have one question maybe you can answer are there park model home communities, similar to one’s all around Phoenix Tucson, and many parts of Arizona, in Mesquite.? Thanks

Are there any good hospitals/doctors nearby?
Yes there are. They have a hospital in Mesquite and a regional hospital in St. George, Utah, which is Intermountain healthcare.
Hi Roman. Please let me know how I can help you in anyway. Thank you for the comment.
We'll be moving in from Monrovia California.

Is there a homeless population in Mesquite? How about a drug problem?
