As a fan of The Strokes from the beginning, three things I love about this video: 1. They sound as good as ever 2. How passionate their fans in Europe (and Latin America too) are for them - even more so than U.S. fans 3. How many people under the age of 30 are there and know their lyrics. For a band that's over 20 years into a successful career, the fact that they keep drawing in new fans is awesome. Thanks for sharing!
I'm 20, this year sae them for the first time live in Lollapalooza Argentina and I loved them. Its rare to see people of my age who like this music nowadays but rock is still alive!!

Yes! My thoughts exactly. It didn't seem right seeing footage of them playing in daylight before the Chili's came on! Plus I didn't think them and RHCP would share the same fans. But maybe The Strokes ended up winning over some of their fans, but like you say I just think they should be headliners in their own right.
i was there and tbh it was a great show but his amp was having issues the whole time. Still kept playing tho and it was a great gig so cant complain too much

I can confirm the crowd was massively triggered as I overheard people say he looked like a sex offender! 😂 Also I think Foals seriously killed their set before the strokes got on stage so it was difficult to top it and they frankly put them to shame. (I say this as a HUGE strokes fan + not really being a fan of foals lol)

I discovered The Strokes a few months ago at a Red Hot Chilli Peppers concert and I was blown away by their performance! Been listening to a lot of their music since.

Saudosismo é bom nessas horas, pra esquecermos os defeitos, erros, deixarmos de esperar uma banda de 20 anos atrás e aceitar que é isso. Bom demais. I'm glad I gave this a listen. Unfortunately I didn't hear a lot of them after "room on fire" (which I loved too) just a few singles..wow...what a group..."automatic stop" sounds SOOO good here..like it work on acoustic! Their influence is undeniable.
