Teddy picker, Cornerstone, Crying lightning, Ultrcheese, Knee socks. I can't believe such a musician & lyricist exists. He really took the "not letting the rock n roll die" seriously. Idk if y'all know his supergroup the last shadow puppets but what he does there is insane. I will never admire no one the same way I admire him.
His vocals are INSANE with TLSP. I didn't think he could sing better than he did in THB&C and The Car. His voice has matured beautifully even though he sang great before also. Then I heard Sweet Dreams TN and I was like 🤯🤯
@@vasundharasrivastava3615 yeah, that second album of puppets has insane vocals of Alex, it seems like he put into TSLP a lot of that energy and feelings which later became TBHC
I know he writes these songs and he's playing them for years, but it's insane how good he is at singing and playing at the same time...especially the old ones, like Brainstorm, The View From The Afternoon and Crying Lightning. Alex Turner is a fucking monster
Totalmente, es algo que lleva mucha practica además, tocar un riff y cantar una melodía totalmente distinta y el lo hacia ante miles de personas con apenas 20 años... además de los solos
1000% i'm sad they slowed down some of the riffs on view from the afternoon the high energy tempo was what made me love it way back when. Still incredible performance and such amazing talent.

I wish people knew how hard It must be to perform these songs. I can't imagine the effort and skill each and every member must exercise. Like Matt absolutely destroying the drums while contributing to the backup vocals, Nick as well, and Jamie conquering all the tough riffs. But as someone who's taught themselves the guitar, I really cannot fathom how Alex manages to sing so adroitly whilst playing such intricate riffs. Do I Wanna Know is actually incredibly difficult despite its simple riff when you're singing and playing at the same time. Knee Socks is strenuous as well. And these are only two examples. These guys are actually insane.
Yea! In fact, when I saw the miniature of video, I thought it was a live from the current The Car tour, where he sounds even more natural with the classics.
This concert is truly incredible! Alex always showing a mettle that has given him the years of handling the stage very well. Congratulations and we are waiting for you in Mexico
I love seeing how the crowd goes about it! I would give almost anything to experience this concert! Feeling this setlist! unbelievable! Guys come back on stage!
Crying Lightning, VFTA, Any AM songs, and Teddy Picker are defo their biggest live hits. They never miss out. Four out Of Five is quickly getting there. And Im sure sculptures will too. And maybe even Do Me a favour. 505 is defo up there. but it doesnt quite get the reception that others do.
Watched this, because I remember one of them was asked to introduce himself and he said his first name and birth town and forgot the band. 🤣 I didn't regret clicking. Nice.

Lol I thought the exact same thing his voice is sooo matured now even just compared to 2013 and I love it more . With their new tour I’m sooo curious to how Alex voice has changed / not changed as it’s been 4 years
This video is underrated, if only Arctic Monkeys' fans knew this video exist

JUST FOUMD THIS AND COULD NOT AGREE MORE
best concert ever indeed.
There's over 1 mil views. We know.
This band has always been a force for change. Unique, perceptions of their music from within, has kept them wearing a number one hat for me.
Teddy Picker. Those riffs, the lyrics.
The closing line is brilliant: "Who'd want to be man of the people, when there's people like you?"
I’ll be listening to them and laugh out of nowhere and people wonder why I’m laughing while listening to them.
i desperately need a new arctic monkeys tour in my life.

Your comment is not impressive. bye bye
Alex's ability to sing while doing some riffs--still mindblowing. I know nothing about guitars, but "that rock and roll, eh?"
"It will never die"
100%. Knee socks is amazing, it's a tricky riff to do, specially singing
Yeah... I don't know how he do on "Do I Wanna Know " ... 😶
He clearly said he will not let the rock die.
