I don't make new year's resolutions, having an autoimmune disease means just waking up in the morning is a gift, putting added unnecessary stress on myself, with resolutions is stupid. I hope that you are doing better health-wise. Hugs
i started to change my diet. it started like most thing do i went to the doctor i was feeling like death warmed up they took blood tests found out i had type 2 diabetes, they suggested for me to go one this medication oh dear lord not more pills and potions. so i said i want to try controlling with diet first i left the doctors office thinking crap i have to succeed at this, call it pig headedness so i all my focus on the problem. i cut out refined sugar, junk food, massively reduced my carb intake which i binged on i am not going to lie. now it been almost two month my blood sugar levels are in the normal range i was obsessed on the numbers from the little tester thing each time the number started to lower i was excited. i completely did not notice with changing my diet that it lost 28lb in weight as well, so now my blood sugars are in normal range and i am loosing weight, which has now taken pressure of my scoliosis reducing my need for pain medication. and how it started was i did not want to take the pills as i know the side effect from them from other family members who been on them.
What small new habit would you like to start building? COMMENT BELOW:
