As a DV survivor myself, I was appalled by her clear lies. After genuine beatings and violence, your body is in trouble as is your mind. You certainly don't look or behave as AH did. Witnessing her attempt to deceive in court was just dreadful. Also, re others in future needing help - when you are really in trouble - you don't spend a moment recalling anyone else's court case - you're in too much agony and panic - right there right now. All you know in that specific moment is that you have to find help - any help. And most do. I know what it is to be beaten and battered - I also know what it is to beg for help from another female and be told she didn't want to get 'involved' On the other side of this, growing up, I witnessed female to male violence too and it was absolutely heartbreaking. When it hits, it hits - male or female. What matters is that we can all access help and support. As for a woman going to these lengths - to deceive and portray herself as a victim - I am appalled. Absolutely appalled.

Sometimes, you just instinctively know when something is not genuine.
When people are doing performances on stage or camera, they have rehearsed many times, had scripts, guidance from the director and staff, etc.
But even if they are top tier actors, when they're not prepared, you can tell when their "performance" is not genuine and in this case it couldn't be more obvious.
For me personally, it was quite painful to watch and hear her. Not because I was appalled, but because it was so embarrassing and cringe at how fake it was.

He then pulled out his phone, laughing, telling me he did this on purpose, and then started recording my rage. I was after his phone. That is all...his phone. You can even tell. I however had video of him...where he woke me up 3 times in a rage, where he turned all the furniture (couch etc) upside down because he didnt want me to be comfortable...where he raised his hand to hit me, and when i said DONT he denied it...He would turn off the heat in Jan., in Wisconsin FFS, So i wouldnt be "comfortable". I had pics of all the bruises all over my body, esp my arms, because he knew martial arts, and could drop me just by grabbing my arm, but neverr my face...he knew better....these people are VILE...After the video incident, and him admitting he did it on purpose, I was able to go grey rock til I escaped.
