Very rare for a "SUCCESFUL" lawyer. You would be surprised by the ammount of lawyers who purpously get a paycut to make sure that kids who make mistakes dont end up getting their lives thrown away. I personally onow of one who financially supported a familly for a period of time to help them get by. There is a lot of good lawyers who are amazing people. We tend to see them as evil because no matter what side you are on, there will always be a lawyer who opposes you(defendant or prosecutor). And because as humans we only concentrate on the negative, it gives us the impression that they are all evil. But just like with any other job, there is both.

This sounds so weird but, it was a thing of beauty to watch Ben and Camille in this trial. You can tell that they are both so passionate about the law, they care deeply for their client and they’re both just _so good_ at what they do!
I remember at the beginning _almost everyone_ was saying that Johnny could never win this trial. And it is true, defamation cases are notoriously hard to win, _especially_ when the plaintiff is a public figure. But even though it was obvious they worked their butts off, these two made it look so flawless and easy. Watching Camille completely own Amber in cross examination was so satisfying, and Ben’s "fist pump" was one of my favorite moments of this trial.
As for Kate Moss, she is clearly a woman of integrity. She didn’t have to get up in front of the whole world and testify for Johnny, but obviously she felt strongly enough to want to get the truth out. Not “his” truth or “her” truth, as Amber and her team are so fond of saying. _THE_ TRUTH.

@@gabrieldorame451 Well, I think pretty much everyone cares about money to some extent and idk a single person who would say no to a raise at work, but for how hard these guys worked on this case, the years and years and years of preparation, the mountains of discovery, the hours of depositions, the disappointments about what evidence would be admitted and what wouldn’t., not to mention the setback about losing the UK trial, and then their rallying back and pulling out an amazing performance during this trial itself, I think it’s only fitting that these two be able to write their own ticket after all the obvious work they put into this case. They did an amazing job, they _should_ be able to charge what they want now. Even if the rates are now (even more) exorbitant than they were before, they worked so hard in this trial and _proved_ that they are worth it. They did what pretty much _everyone_ said was impossible. They actually won a defamation case against Amber Heard. And even the people who _did_ look at this case and thought that they _might_ have a teeny tiny chance, they thought that Johnny might win _one_ of the defamation allegations. But even that was a long shot. So imo, after all the hard work they put into this and after their obviously amazing performances, they both _deserve_ to be able to call their own shots now. These guys did what pretty much everyone said was impossible.

But I don't have any relationship with my ex-wife, she's not in my life at all. And I still resent her deeply for her role in our split. But if someone accused her of being abusive towards me, I'd be right there in court denying it too. Some people just have a duty to the truth. It was always fun to watch Ben's facial expressions when AH or one of her witnesses said something ridiculous or behaved like that Dr. Spiegel guy. Ben would sometimes look as if he wanted to say "Is this even really happening?". And the relationship he had with JD and Camille was heartwarming to watch as well. Whenever one of their team had done well, they were hugging each other or nodding in appreciation. They seemed to really be invested, they seemed to really like Johnny, and they were completely convinced of his innocence. That whole team and their relationship to their client gave off a completely different vibe than AH's team. I'm probably biased, but to me it sometimes looked as if Elaine and Mr. Rottenborn had had enough of Amber.
