Florida police received a call regarding a hit-and-run crash, then another call from a Walmart reporting a shoplifter. Police later realized that both incidents involved the same alleged suspect, 46-year-old Ledrianne Emley. Emley claimed she was out Christmas shopping and had been drinking, police say. Emley was arrested for shoplifting and driving under the influence.

This was the longest pre arrest conversation ever...I got up, took a shower, got dressed, legally shopped at Wal*Mart; came back home and she was still being questioned.

Agree. As soon as he suspected that she was drunk, he should asked a minimal number of questions about her consumption of alcohol, the proceeded with asking about doing a field sobriety test. He seems to be enjoying questioning her about all the other stuff.

So it seems to me that there a lot of disagreements in the comments saying she innocent, he didn’t read her miranda rights. How do they know she was driving, and why was she arrested.
So here is my take, by assumption. I believe she drove to the walk mart drunk, shoplifted, drove back to her destination drunk but also got in a little accident. And was too drunk to get out of the car and just stayed there. lol that’s what I believe and that’s more than enough reason to get arrested. Especially driving intoxicated! And yes the officer was doing too much, if you were going to arrest her then just arrest her. He was asking her all those non important questions. But I hope this lady gets some help. This is an embarrassing video, that none of us need to see.

if she were 26 but at her age of 46 its really hard to help her to make a change. my sister is even worse. it is possible that alcoholism lead to most of the troubles seen here.

At the very end of the video when the cop asks her if she's seen the left side of her vehicle and she says "she had an accident today. she was driving..." Is she trying to blame the car accident on her daughter? If you listen to the few sentences just before, they were talking about her daughter.
