I love how simple you explain the technique & the encouragement you give to new learners. I am so nervous to give this a try but why not!!! I've had ALL the supplies for over 2 years!!! TODAY will be the day I make it happen. I was the exact same way when I started making candles, soaps, body butters, scrubs etc !!!! I'm 17 years in the business & so glad I started. Thanks for watching! Im glad the video helped
Great idea. I have a cup turned and resin. Guess I better go to dollar store
Yes, dollar store is a great source and very affordable
What a great video. I like you 😊
Thank you!!!
A heat gun would give you more control and less chance of igniting the alcohol ink. Gorgeous job!
I've watched numerous videos before and after this one and this is STILL my favorite one. You are so great at giving directions. I am ready to add to cart and try to create something beautiful!💜
I just have a question is a torch always needed. I've seen some use a torch, straw or even a blow dryer. Any information would be greatly appreciated!💜
You are too kind! Thank you! You can definitely do this. Go ahead and give it a try. Let me me know how it turns out! You got this!
Thanks so much! I need a new hobby so I think this will be very interesting but so fun!!!💜
Mod Podge has a dishwasher safe product and there are food safe epoxies. Really lovely design.
Thanks for watching
Thank you I am a new person at this and you have helped me
Thanks for watching Eva. I am happy to help!
@@sensibledecor3264 I hope we can be friends because this journey making these tumblers are hard not so much the designing but the apoxy mine no matter what I do comes out wrinkled in spots
@Eva Aguilar epoxy can difficult to start but be sure to mix slowly but completely and measuring is a must. Equal parts of part a and b. Lastly font over work it. Mix for about 4-5 minutes and then start to apply. Hope this helps
Thank you for this tutorial. I am just getting back into my crafts and this encouraged me so much. Can you tell me where you got your turner from?
I’m so glad you are inspired. Try Amazon for a cup spinner. Michaels has them to I believe. Be sure to subscribe! Thanks for watching!
Please wear a mask... Or make sure you wear gloves that epoxy won't seam thru like dark gray or black ones. Open a window, turn fans on, create airflow. I had a bad reaction from getting too comfortable with epoxy and it took me a month to recover! Just please be cautious!!! This is an awesome video! Love your tone! Soothing voice! And Thanks solo much for sharing this!!! Never seen a full epoxy wind glass... Just your video! Liked and Subscribed!!! Please do more videos!!!
Thank you! I will be very cautious! More wine glasses to come!!!
Thanks for subscribing!
Go mommy go!😘
Nice going
Do you have to use resin first and what can I use instead of a glass turner? Can’t find one anywhere here in Oz but want to get started!
Yes, use resin first to achieve the same type of effect. The epoxy helps the inks to move and blend. For this effect you would want to use a spinner. Where are you located? Check Amazon they always have them. Good luck!
Where did you get your glass turning device? **and great idea. They're beautiful and very modern looking.
Amazon. Michaels has 1 cup turners. Mines is a 4 cup turner. Thanks for watching!!!
Hi! What do you use for the glass rotator?
I have cup spinners. You can purchase from Amazon. Should be a link comments
Hello how are you? Where and what kind of sponges should I buy to stuff in the glasses?
Foam. I get them for Amazon. Foam for cup spinner. Thanks for watching
Hie dear wat is that red thing thats spinning the glasses??thank u
A cup spinner. Available of Amazon. Thanks for watching
Thank you!! What do you put inside the cup to spin it? Anything particular? Pool noodle?
I use a cup spinner. You can purchase a single or multi cup spinner from Amazon. Micheals also!
And a foam insert
What making the glasses turn
did I miss where you got that
It’s a cup turner. Michaels hobby lobby and Amazon sell them. Single ones double cup or 4 cup
You did a fabulous job! I love everything you did. Perfect personality, beautiful glasses…. But be careful with that blow torch honey- you scared me- lol💕
Thank you! Yes, I use my heat gun on the alcohol ink project now. That torch can be dangerous lol!
@@sensibledecor3264 😂😂😂💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Do you have to use the torch?
No you don’t have to but it helps. If you have a heat gun you can use that. It’s helps activate movement and pops air bubbles at the same time! Thanks for watching!
What are you using for the glasses to spin with?
A cup spinner/turner. You can purchase at Amazon or Michaels.
Are these safe to drink from? They’re beautiful!
Yes! They are. Be sure to cure them and follow directions for your Roxy resin
After the last coat of epoxy has dried, it hurt the person to drink out of these?
No epoxy is unsafe before cured. Once cured they are safe. I let these type glasses cure for about 5 days
Where did you purchase the spinners?
I purchased the spinners from Amazon
Etsy and Michaels sell spinners. Check hobby lobby also
What is hodge podge?
Mod podge is permanent glue used to adhere and seal. Often used in crafting.
Love your video. I have a concern, it probably isn't safe to have a candle burning with the epoxy chemicals. Just looking out for your safety. Keep creating your beautiful work
You are correct! I burn it for the smell but I sometime forget. Thank you for your concern beautiful lady!!!! Thanks for watching. New wine glasses coming soon!!!!
What did you use to spray on your glasses when you did the final finish?
Ronda I one use a final layer of epoxy to seal in the mica powders. I’m not sure what spray you are talking about. You may be talking about the heat gun. I use the heat to encourage movement. So that gray thing at the end is torch. Hope this helps!
@@sensibledecor3264 Okay thank you so much for responding... I understand now, so you added one more layer of epoxy to seal... okay thank you I think I have it! lol
@@rondacope9898 yes! And you can use a torch or heat gun to encourage movement and pop the air bubbles at the same time. Good luck!
@@sensibledecor3264 Thank you I am going to give this a try! lol
@@rondacope9898 yes! Go for it! I’m going to try and do another video this weekend!
Can you use a blow dryer instead
Alex I’ve never used a blow dryer. You can get really inexpensive heat tools from Amazon, Michael and Harbor Freight. Thanks for watching and let me if the dryer works!
Does the resin have to be food safe?
Yes I highly recommended it for pieces that someone will eat or drink out of
How do you get a spinner
Amazon she put the link in her bio
I ordered from Amazon
What’s your store please?
I don’t have a store at this time. You can email me if you would like something made
My epoxy and ink slides down the wine glass.. is that normal
No. That sounds like too much epoxy.
What kind of mask
When using epoxy it’s recommended to use protective mask so you don’t breathe in fumes. Also protective gloves.
Wine and wellness 😅
Dang girl I was laughing when you touched. Man she is going to burn her house on fire!! The glasses turned out beautifully. This was a good Beginner tutorial. The only thing I see you missed was to always rub your glass down with 91% rubbing alcohol. Other than that it was a fun tutorial to watch.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video
YOUR THUMB NAIL CAUGHT MY ATTENTION...I HAD TO CHECK YOUR VIDEO OUT.
Thank you. They came out great
@@sensibledecor3264 THEY REALLY DID.
Lol take those gloves off
Lol! Debbie I’ve been asked to please keep the gloves on! Safety first. Thanks for watching
@@sensibledecor3264 just because I would never finish til I messed it up so I take them off lol
Don’t tell on me… but sometimes I do lol!
Do you sell them?
Thank you !
