If you use three thin coats of dishwasher safe mod podge and wait for the 30 day curing time it does work. I make birthday glasses and it is truly dishwasher safe.
I don’t know if you read any of these, I just absolutely love all your videos you are so sweet and you think whatever you are doing isn’t going to work out and it’s always more then beautiful!! I find myself answering you lol thank you for all the sharing you do, especially your deck and birds💞
Julie; you are soooo delightful and a real sweetheart. You’re a joy to watch, and I’ve learned so much from you. I’m making these today. Soooo pretty 🤩💗💐
Это просто удивительно.Вы очень красивые вещи делаете,не боитесь экспериментов. Вы молодец.Очень многому у вас учусь....Желаю вам всего хорошего.Спасибо вам.
Such a sweet idea. I doubt anyone else will pay much, if any, attention to the outside of the base of the 2 glasses in this tutorial. The glasses are so much fun most people probably will not notice. In order to keep everything simple you might want to dip a gloved finger in an upcoming batch of clear resin and simply smear a thin coat over the area that touched the masking tape.
I think they're so adorable. I love the way the distortion makes the bloom go up the stem of each wine glass. So cute! Thanks for sharing😘✌ I forgot I love the bottoms of them too. So when you're taking a drink the person across from you can see the beautiful flower 😆 And I did watch your other video for the larger wine glasses they're really pretty too!
They are pretty. Turned out really good. 💕🤗💕 There is a process where you can paint on the glasses with alcohol ink, set it and it looks like stained glass. Really pretty. You can also paint with acrylic enamel, set in the oven and then afterwards you can even wash them in the dishwasher. I think I would probably hand wash them lol I bet you could make a mold with your freeform mold you make. Mold it to the bottom edge of the glass so that edge fits tight into the mold. I hope I am making sense. That way the edge would be smooth.
Those are without doubt the most beautiful ever!! Now I’m gonna have to do mine. 😁. Thank you so much for the tutorial and encouragement! You are amazing !!!
Hi Julie I think if you use resin tape (the glossy type people use for jewelry) you may end up with a polished edge as opposed as using masking tape. Just a thought. Love ALL your videos. You are so delightful to watch and listen to
I love these more then the previous ones! They are gorgeous what a genius idea. You might want to try packing tape, not sure what it might leave behind verses the masking tape. ❤️❤️❤️
I do love your videos, you are very crafty, great ideas. I do have a question, the white titanium paste that you use even in your other video doing the black and white wine glasses with the coaster moulds is it important to have the opaque white? I am in Canada and don't see it available on amazon.
You asked about the sides. I have an idea. Take your long forever silicone rope , cut to size adhere to the bottom of the glass tape ends together and BAM you have shinny sides on the bottom. I think this is an awesome idea with the wine glasses they turn out so pretty. Great idea using the bottom of the wine glasses . So pretty and unique.
Ohhhhhh, I hope this works.......... Yay, very cool. I think you should keep playing with this. I'm sure you'll come up with how to perfect them. So much fun! xoxoxo
What a great idea doing the resin from underneath. Actually loved both lots of wine glasses you’ve done They’d make beautiful gifts for the right person I’m going to have a go at these I was wondering if you could use eucalyptus oil to get the tape marks off without hurting the resin.
Julie I know you do acrylic pours. There is a lady that pours on a glossy tile and the cuts it off and she has a skin. Then she puts the skins on the bottom of the wine glasses. Check out her videos. You cousi do them and they'd be beautiful too.
Those are lovely, Julie It seems to me that the resin would make the glasses less likely to break as easily. I am a bit clumsy. LOL, I HAVE BROKEN MORE GLASSES THAN ANYONE ELSE I KNOW FAMILY, friend or foe❣ Some of us are just put together that way, I guess. LOL
Hey Julie. I love this idea. I’ve been told that alcohol ink in resin fades terribly when the item is placed in the sun. I just wonder if you’ve experienced this or not? Thanks so much for your great videos 😊
What a fantastic idea 💡 I can’t wait to give it a go. I think the gold around the edges ruins the look of the bloom, what about if you put a thin layer of resin and sprinkle gold glitter around, just every soo lightly. Thank you for your tutorial I always look forward to watching them ❤❤
Julie, I picked up some silicone tape at the HyVee pharmacy. It’s with the first aid products. Look for the Bandaids, then find the gauze, and all the various tapes they have. I haven’t looked for your original tutorial yet, but will any resin work? I’m trying this today with my silicone tape.
Hi form Norway! thank you for your videos - it's a graat insipiration! however, Iwonder if you experience the same with alcohol ink as me - mine changes in colour and gets pale during 1 month. if yours is behaving better - what type do you use? would like to give the glasses as a present, but with the colour changing into next to nothing I'm afraid to do so.
If you use three thin coats of dishwasher safe mod podge and wait for the 30 day curing time it does work. I make birthday glasses and it is truly dishwasher safe.
I might try this!
Do you mean after doing the resin?im going to try this for my daughter.
Instead if resin, right?

Looks good enough to drink! From the pic, it looked like a skin you attached to the bottom but this is even more fun! Cheers!
They are lovely, I like the coffee colour in the middle. I have also seen people do the base of the glass with paint skins, left over from a pour.x
That sounds like a good idea as well.
Those look really cool. So many ideas if what you can do.
HI Julie, Thank you for sharing a lovely resin tutorial I thought Your wine glasses turned out super sweet looking ✨❤️ Lin
I did this to my friends bong. Thanks for the idea!
Julie; you are soooo delightful and a real sweetheart. You’re a joy to watch, and I’ve learned so much from you. I’m making these today. Soooo pretty 🤩💗💐
Wow they look beautiful. You are so creative! I love it and learning so much from your videos
Cool idea there lovely makes a good Gaelic coffee glass

Julie these glasses are absolutely beautiful. I saw your black and white ones also. They were beautiful as well. I love your imagination.
The perfect gift to my mun and her friend, they love wine 😅😅😂😂❤❤❤❤ i love your art!
I absolutely love all your videos. Only wish I was that good
They are so nice. A great wedding gift and use wedding color. Thank you for sharing your amazing art talent s.
They’re beautiful!!!
Oh no! You're giving me more ideas!
What a fun idea! They turned out so pretty.
I reckon the petri dish effect would look amazing. great video, they look cool. I don't mind the edges like they are.
They turned out cute! I think I'll give it a go. How fun! ❤️
For the sides, maybe a light sand and a thin coat of resin to bring out the shine.
Love these Julie! I was all ready to do my wine glasses with the black, white, and gold flakes, But I MUST do these first! I swear you are brilliant!
That's such a nice idea. I could imagine making a set of maybe 6, euch of then different so everyone knows, which glass belongs to which Person 😍
I think they're so adorable. I love the way the distortion makes the bloom go up the stem of each wine glass. So cute! Thanks for sharing😘✌ I forgot I love the bottoms of them too. You are so amazing at all the videos you do💞

Loved the last ones but these are even better. Thank you xx
I Love the blooming stems! Lovely. I'm sure the glass is sturdier too. I don't care for the gold edging. Glad you wiped it off.
Those are without doubt the most beautiful ever!! Now I’m gonna have to do mine. 😁. Thank you so much for the tutorial and encouragement! You are amazing !!!
You can also use top coat nail polish will also bring the shine back.
Love it, what a great idea. Thanks for this inspiration. ❤️
Beautiful 😍 looks amazing 👏 as always 🍷
Oh Julie amazing job, well done!!!!
i love your creativity
Love the black and white.
Dried flowers, petals, leaves would be cool.
Hi Julie

What a great idea!
Those are actually very cool
It’s beautiful 😍
Very pretty love the color. ♥️
I think a petri dish on the bottom of a glass would look amazing
Great job! Turned out beautiful!
I love it 🥰 no gold needed 🤩fabulous
Very nice. Today is my birthday so may be i'll decorate some glasses.
Omg love all your videos ❤️
That is really pretty! I love it!
That’s awesome, they look like a chocolate/vanilla pudding dessert lol. SWEET TREAT!!! 😍
Cool craft idea
You could use acetate for cheesecakes and tape the outside of it.
They beautiful great for weddibg ideals
Good luck with that. I tried the same thing in 2017. The resin pops off the glass eventually.
I was wondering about that too. Within a certain time they will separate. What to do? Idk.
Beautiful results ,maybe use a small paint brush to paint edges with thin layer of resin . Idk I might try it like that.
Love it! I'm going to do something like this with my fave giant gin glass
I love these more then the previous ones! They are gorgeous what a genius idea. You might want to try packing tape, not sure what it might leave behind verses the masking tape. ❤️❤️❤️
I love this!! They came out great and I can’t wait to try this.
So cute!!!! Love them
Could you use a silicone wrist band rather than tape? Just a thought - they’re pretty cheap to buy and come in different sizes
I'm definitely going to try this ❤
OMG this is brilliant!!!!!
That is such a cute idea..
Fantastic ❤️
Love them. great idea. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You could try either the blue painters tape or the green frog tape.
I love them..
A deburring tool would work great for getting that edge off from the tape. Absolutely gorgeous as ever and a great idea!

What about making an instant mold that fits tight around the base like a rubber band
I love your work, I watch you all the time. Can you please post where you got the very small spoons? Thank You.
That's so cool. I have to do ours now
Very cute!
Brilliant as always, maybe a some of the special effect mold you made the holographic one would alter the sides enough to disguise it
Good idea 👍 👍 👍 👍
What a great idea doing the resin from underneath. Actually loved both lots of wine glasses you’ve done
They’d make beautiful gifts for the right person
I’m going to have a go at these
I was wondering if you could use eucalyptus oil to get the tape marks off without hurting the resin.
Absolutely Beautiful Julie 💙🥰
Oolala those ones are crazy good
Nice I have to do some for my grandson s wedding colors are black and pink any suggestions on how to do them ty

I wonder if you use a buffer on a Dremel on the sides would it make it shiny. They have little buffers.
LOL
Would you mind posting a link to where you purchased the glasses?
They are beautiful..That will make them much more stable too and less likely to topple. Not sure about the pen around it because of washing it 🥰
Your green resin tape that you used for your open pendants? They kept the backs shiny.
LOVES THESE - IS THERE A WAYTO KEEP THE GOLD DECO PEN FROM COMING OFF THE GLASS?
Hey Julie. I love this idea. I’ve been told that alcohol ink in resin fades terribly when the item is placed in the sun. I just wonder if you’ve experienced this or not? Thanks so much for your great videos 😊
You can use glue-away to wipe off tape residue
Glue gold glitter around sides? 😊
What a fantastic idea 💡 I can’t wait to give it a go.
I think the gold around the edges ruins the look of the bloom, what about if you put a thin layer of resin and sprinkle gold glitter around, just every soo lightly.
Thank you for your tutorial I always look forward to watching them ❤❤
Do you just use coaster molds for these?

If you run a cocktail stick around the masking tape straight after the pour you won’t get the sharp lip
I think if you did a tiny layer of UV resin on the edges, that would take away the masking tape fogginess?
Why size plastic cups do you use? And what are the little glass pieces called? Sorry I’m new to this?
Burgundy Blooms for Red wine
Hi form Norway! thank you for your videos - it's a graat insipiration! however, Iwonder if you experience the same with alcohol ink as me - mine changes in colour and gets pale during 1 month. if yours is behaving better - what type do you use? would like to give the glasses as a present, but with the colour changing into next to nothing I'm afraid to do so.
Light sanding and uv resin might work.
you could even put little diamentes on the edges. looks great tho
Would silicone egg rings fit around the base. Kmart have them $1.50 I think.
Do u only need the mask when mixing the resin?
