I have 6 Survive knives, 2 GSO 5.1 and 4 of the EDC 4. Mine cut like crazy and I have had no issues at all. The FFG 4 is so slicey. Unfortunately I had a fall and have shattered multiple bones so can’t put them to harder use right now. Guy and Ellie are such down to earth people if you ever get to meet them in person. Oh and I ordered a TSK today for neck knife. DBK had a very good review a few months back and worth a watch. Thank you Guy and Ellie.
Using K890 with Peters Heat Treatment will be a game changer. It’s good that you’re getting steel that meets quality standards. I can’t wait to get my hands on a Survive knife with K890 and have some fun. Finally we get an American company that’s not scared to use new innovative steels on their fixed blades.👊💪
63.5, now THAT's a knife edge! Am almost disappointed that you backed it down to 61.5 for production :) Side note, need to get a jewelers loop for your camera to show that edge better so that the burnishing can't masquerade as edge-damage. Awesome work, Guy!
