Man... yeah the TMNT one may be next LOL. I really wish there was a Killer Instinct one though... thats the one big Arcade1Up machine I seriously considered buying... but just dont have a lot of room.
I have my own custom arcade machine but I would love these! 🤩 The UK doesn’t have anywhere I can think of that would sell these in store and for that cheap! The Arcade 1UP UK shop sells for like £300+ so I’ll sit here in envy 😂 Great video again!
It's just a window and straight unaltered sunlight (temperature doesn't matter) and you can get that signature fade in 3-6 weeks. I've seen that happen to many an unopen box in a flee market, I've also seen that happen to stuff in the course of a week.

These are what I have. I don’t have space for a room full of 3/4 scale cabinets. I have 5 of these: Mortal Kombat, Marvel Super Heroes, NBA Jam, Pac-Man & Ms. Pac-Man.
MK trilogy was UNFORGIVING the further you fought up the tree. My kid self used to get hammered on there 😂
Leave it to MLP to find the MK one for $99 already! I think that guy was telling you the truth about the sun fading the box colors through a window in his garage. I used to work at a Blockbuster Video as a teen, and the box art for the Sega CD games all faded by the time I left there in 95-96. The reason is they were placed in the back near a window that had faced the sun all day every day for a few years. In this case the packaging did its job though, the parts that were covered up all look brand new!
Hey MLP! Just a heads up, you can unscrew the speaker and flip it around and put the screws back in and it sounds way better.
Some people have windows in their garages. Seems weird to me as I grew up in an area that never did that, but yeah it seems to be a thing in some places. Cool machine, might have to track on of these down, thanks for the video MLP!
Still baffles me that the super heroes countercade doesn’t have children of the atom

I hacked mines and fb neo runs cps2 games well. Just a frame hitch every now and then. That's how I get around to playing those games. Horizontal and vertical shmups
I bought 3 of those MK2 countercades for 17 dollars each. Sold them each for 100.00. Was some good money made.
I'm shocked that anyone would brag about scalping a product. Its kinda frowned upon in the community. Granted, it happens, but do that sh.. in the shadows.

I got the deluxe cabinet for MK2 and love it. I also have the Street Fighter 2 Yoga Flame cab. really awesome cabs from Arcade1up. I might pick up the Marvels superheroes countercade for the punisher.

Would be a cool display piece for 50 bucks or so. I'm guessing his garage door was open a lot and the left side of the box was facing the opening. I'd just swap out the 2 bat tops with some fresh red ones and call it a day.

Great review MLP da MVP! I picked one up..thanks for the heads up. Did you know it can be hacked effortlessly? No extra parts to buy, just a micro usb cable and a flash drive. Theres a 16 gb image at “the usual place” that has games ranging from Atari 7800 up to PS1. Same hack works on the Marvel Super Heroes countercab too!🎉
I bought those two in their 3/4 cabs, never play them anymore since modding a 3rd with a Pandora box but I do like them as functioning decoration. especially with the odd button placement on Mk2 it’s hard to emulate.
Where are you finding these under $100? The Marvel Super Heroes one is $150 at my Target.

At least you can get into the Test menu in each Mortal Kombat game. Just hold on player 2 LP+HK+Up then on player 1 Hold Run+Block after you press the player 1 button. Then once the Menu comes up you can change whatever you want. It works in each game.

I brought MK II for my granddaughter. She loved it until I beat 3 games in a row. She never touched it again.

Sweet! Man I envy you so much right now lol. I think they'd bank more on these portable ones than the bigger ones haha. I think it would have been better if it had MK 4 as that last game but I digress, the reason MKT wasn't on it is because MKT wasn't an arcade game. No doubt that's the reason why, but MKT is epic for sure! Nice. I'm guessing he had it at an angle where the sun hit part of the box as to why the sticks got more faded. Stryker fan huh? Nice! He gets a lot of hate but hey in MK 1 his kameo is one of the best in the game!
yeah figure Trilogy wouldn't be on these machines as it was arcade, thats why I said a bonus game lol. But would have been cool to round it out with MK4 ... but still cool to have the original 3 MK games. I just gotta get back into the groove of these games and relearn the combos and fatalities. Always liked these MK games more than the newer ones.

First 3 haha. 😜 Oh yeah I hear ya as an 80's and 90's kid myself, there's something about the 90's MK that the newer ones miss. The newer ones are great, don't get me wrong and I see why zoomers think MK X or MK 11 are the best MK ever!! lol but man if you lived through the 80's and 90's like us, the older ones hit different.
@@Madlittlepixel Which version of MK Trilogy would you have put on there? Playstation version had both Sub-Zeros (Masked & Unmasked), Goro, Kintaro, MK1 Raiden, MK1 Kano, MK2 Jax, MK2 Kung Lao and the male Chameleon, but had hefty load times. The N64 version only had the Masked Sub-Zero and is completely missing the other fighters I listed, but it has no load times and features the female Khameleon.
Nice, i have the legacy one that I'm not very fond of. It doesn't have online. I want the newer dekuxe one. Maybe it'll go on sale one day. Than I can replace it and sale the legacy one.

If you ask me this is what Arcade 1up should have been from the very beginning.
I don't know how you got it for that price, I went down to my local Target and it was like $149.
They had a Target circle deal for an extra $50 off on the countercades, so they were on sale for $150 then the circle deal got it to $99 plus I also have a red card that gets 5% off and then they also had a 10% off coupon that some people got who have Target circle. So it was possible to get it well below $100... but the deal didn't last for more than that day I think. I posted about it earlier in the day when I found out about it on Twitter.
Go for a Pandora one instead so you can play more than one game

I could see that plastic (from the box) magnifying the light on that stick causing it to be faded more than anything else. Still, such a great pick up!!

you should check out if the ed boon menu is on there. Took 20 years to find them for all the arcade ports.
What's the Ed boon menu?
There is a series of button presses you can do using both player 1 and 2 controls on the arcade machine that would allow access to the owners menu with the ability to change the dip switch settings. It could be found online. @@BrilliantCataclysm

screen should of been bigger. I see lots of room with that layout with joysticks.

Why do they make everything limited run. I missed a bunch of stuff not having money. I should see a brand new fresh nes for example at the game store. Because it's something amazing in game history. even thou it's not very powerfull.

Cool but im not a fan of the oversized controller. I feel like controller, screen and marquee should be the same lenght (wide) It kaint of defeets the purpose of saving space imo.

Nope Reptile doesn't appear until MKII if I remember correctly.
