Thanks for watching man, I really appreciate it. I swear this place made me kinda teary eyed seeing so many games being treated in a way that I’ve never seen before at this scale. At least not outside of galloping ghost. Thanks so much again for watching! I really appreciate it!
Its mind boggling just how massive this collection is, and the fact its all the culmination of one man's lifelong passion. The Landing High Japan game is one I've never heard of before till now. One really cool gem I noticed in the background was Sonic Championship, Sega's classic sonic the hedgehog fighting game.
Thanks bud, We're always trying to push the production limits as much as we can. We're a small crew of literally two people most of the time. Thankfully we got to add Arcade Hollywood in the mix, we all worked so great together. Although him and I get a little sidetracked due to our excitment levels... haha. Thank you again, that's an awesome comolement and Myself, Mason and Arcade Hollywood really apprecaite it!
what a cool place! great idea with the QR code thing to instantly report an issue with a game, I'd imagine it expedites repairs at least a little bit?! always cool to see a new arcade open up letting folks relive their past or discover a new game they'd never played before!
I'm so glad I landed on this video. I wasn't born in the era of arcades and I'm from India, so I only know about the popular arcade games. When I was a kid I played Daytona, House of the Dead and Tekken 3 on my local arcade in Varanasi. I was always fascinated with arcade machines and this video brings me a lot of joy. I hope to build my own 8-bit bar top arcade in the future.
My rating: A- Its excellent in every way EXCEPT for the lack of representation from 90s fighters and beat em ups. The only change I would make would be to exchange ONE row of pinball to accomodate more video arcades(including the adorementioned shortcomings)
They have things very well spaced so they could probably accomidate another row. I know they also plan to swap things in and out based on customer feedback. I know they have SF2 and I believe they have MK2 and a few other fighters. But overall I agree, I think they could add a few more fighters.
@@RetroRalph Early birthday? I actually went ON my birthday! :P Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go choose a brand of tennis balls to put on my walker...
This is only 45 minutes from me and I had no idea it opened up. This is so awesome. The only other arcade close to me was a total dump, most of the games are broke and they just leave leave them broke.
Oh neat, I actually just went here last weekend! (2 days before this video posted) I love the banners on the walls that gives the history of some of the games
This collection is beyond words. Absolutely above anything I've seen previously. As an owner of four pinball and two arcade video game machines, I cannot imagine how he keeps everything running.
The QR Codes are huge for our success. With over 600 games, we rely heavily on the public to scan the codes and report the issues as they are found. These get reported to a Google Sheet to which all of our techs have access. Our techs are there Monday-Friday 7-3 when the public is not there to tackle as many issues as possible. We have a great team and they are managing very well. We have a floor manager that addresses all minor issues immediately when we are open such as stuck balls, broken rubbers, etc. Without the QR Code system we would have a very difficult time keeping up. The public has been awesome. As G.I. Joe says "Knowing is half the battle." The other half is hiring very talented and passionate techs.
I am from Philly. I adore pinball. Hopefully in the future, I can check this place out. It looks sick!!!! I do not like Ohio St. I am a PSU fan. Go lions!!!!! I adore playing pinball.
They are closed monday tuesday wednesday and the days they are open their opening and closing time is all over the place. Not a good indicator for long term success.
As a huge fan of arcade and pinball machines. This is definitely a must visit alongside the Galloping Ghost arcade in Chicago, Illinois, and the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas Nevada (which I did visit 3 years ago). 👾🕹
It’s so basic but so fun! I can’t believe I’ve never played it. I think I just scrolled by it in mame. That’s cool that you used to play it at the bowling alley!
Very cool that other Arcades open with big collections, but the biggest Arcade in the world is Galloping Ghost Arcade in Brookfield Illinois. Owner Doc Mack is awesome!
@@rizzlerazzleuno4733 They have a pinball location down the street. The galloping ghost has multiple businesses in that area including a gym. Looking forward to make the trip out here. It's nice to see something like this open year round. I'd be really excited to see some pinball tournaments run here. Pretty cool with the backup collection, so if any game has a long downtime, it can get replaced. But as far as Pinball, the Ann Arbor Vintage Flipper World Pinball Museum has a little over 500 pinball on display. The only downside is that they are open 1-2 times a year, so not something as readily accessible as this.
It's very cool! Went to Funspot in New Hampshire as a bucket trip with best friend. Was absolutely incredible! They are nice and may be able to help this new arcade with where to get old parts, etc. I hope it does really well! Have fun!

Just got back from playing there for 5 hours today! What a wonderful place to visit and makes me want to go back next weekend. Ralph, you captured this place perfectly and I really enjoyed your top 5 segment. A+
