I can remember about 30 + years ago when I worked in a factory, some guy put a 4.2 Jaguar engine into a MK1 Escort and it still had drum breaks !! Bloody crazy !

I'm absolutely curious as to how you sync those two vw v6's in that Lupo to run properly. Is it done electronically through the ecu('s)? or by some other means?
no need for syncing, you just need exact same gearbox and same engine types.
basically each engine behaves like its only powering half of the car.
biggest problem is synchronizing the clutches but even that can be solved easy if you buy both new when biulding the car.
that nissan patrol always makes me smile:D

Whoever came up with swapping bike engines in little cars should be rewarded. It's a fucking brilliant idea , light weight, high revving, high speed, good for gas, never ending torque. It's the best of both worlds. I gotta do that someday
The VAZ 2101 with the ZZR 1000 power plant is one of my future builds for sure. That thing is undeniably Cool.

That V12 bike is awesome, and beautiful gold extractors 4:53. You'd need a petrol station every five or six miles though - the bike tank won't keep that V12 going for long! ;)
i don't realy see the point in it though. it's cool but thats probably where the benefits of that bike end
I have never seen a car with two engines :O . Just incredible!!!
My favorite was the Fiat 500 with the Lambo engine (Too bad we didn't get to see it go). One problem with high-powered short wheelbase cars like the couple of 500s we saw is lack of stability, especially in curves. fat tires and upgraded suspension helps, but it is still a major issue.

I personally think the skyline engine is better than the Lamborghini engine, talking in a personal way not talking about speed
i didn't like the looks of the Fiat, so i would have put in an engine that would have fit in the stock dimensions, such as the VW 2332 turbo engine, or a supercharged Harley Davidson engine, or possibly another older superbike engine.
