That air cooled Tatra V8 sounds like an American muscle car V8 with a lopey camshaft. Impressive for a 3.5 L engine. I swear it sounds like an American big block V8 with a Thumpr camshaft.
The thing that makes Skoda 120's swap unique is the Tatra v8 comes from Tatra 603, which both of them are rear-engined, the guy moved that engine to the front.

That subaru-quad isn't a swap. That is a custom built quad. Engine, transmission, brakes, and much more is actually from the car, and the coolant runs in the frame. it's basically a short subary.

It is just too narrow and tall to handle well on asphalt. The engine he used is great, but too heavy and over-powered for the use. :/ I bet It is fun to drive it though

The first time that old piece of shit Skoda had a serious engine... The standard engine was crap, so was the rest of this car. Probably one of the worst cars ever to leave a Warszawa pact country..! Unbelievable what they had built since Volks Wagen group bought them.
Subaru engines sound like shit, they always sound like they're missing. It must be the firing order, they fire one side of the engine, then the other side. VW is a flat four too, but it alternates a cylinder side to side.
A Skoda with an aircooled Tatra V8 engine in it ... that's probably one of the most unusual swaps I have seen in a while.

+505197 It's because of the headers. Subaru uses uneven length headers, some people swap them for equal length headers, it sounds pretty good.
