- Hello my beautiful fam! Welcome back to my kitchen today I’m going to share with you how to make the best tortas de milanesa, basically dredging thin slices of meat in eggs and seasoned bread crumbs and frying them! The are seriously the best I hope you enjoy them as much as me and my family do. Keep in mind like every recipe and every household there are tons of variations that make this delicious recipe, this is the way I was taught. Ingredients:
2 lbs extra thin beef top round (milanesa) or you can use chicken breast
Torta bread
3 cups flour
6 eggs
3 cups plain bread crumbs
1/2 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp California chili powder
1 tbsp oregano
3 cups pinto beans
1/4 onion
1 chile jalapeño
Queso fresco
Canola oil
Your choice of toppings
1 serving of love 💕

I owned a taqueria in Arizon and I had a few people come in from San Diego asking about our tortas which were BOMB and as much as cali/az tortas differ I had great reviews. BUT if I had saw this recipe I DEFINITELY would have been making them this way too. I'm going to make it at home for my husband. Thank you beautiful!!
