Recycling Pull-Aparts: Washing Machine

This took 35 minutes to disassemble and gather the gold inside, since it was my first washing machine recycling and I used simple tools.
It will take 10 minutes on future machines. That extra 25 minutes was a valuable one-time learning investment.
Even if you don't recycle any of the parts, taking things apart naturally teaches you how the items work. This can give you ideas for inventions of your own, or you can understand what's wrong with your products if they stop working.
