Perhaps the person who asked for the build wanted it to be used manually? And didn't build it themselves because they didn't have the tools or electricity?
If you were to use a torque converter ( used for undoing wheel nuts on trucks ) you could turn that with 1 finger or even a small battery drill leaving you to just turn the die cutter . Great building video
Bro , what can I say about your designing and manufacturing skills. You are just amazing.Awesome creation by you always. I like your machines ,it consumes less manual energy, economical and nature friendly.😊❤❤❤❤❤😊 .Very nice .
It is a great project! I think what is needed for turning is something like a drilll. As the drill turns it (not you) the material will be pushed through. This way the amount of energy used it takes to turn it will be lessened and more will pellets can be made more quickly. Any thoughts. Yes, the drill takes electricity so it is good to have manual when there is no electricity.
I like the design very much. I like your other pellet machine better, but this one is good too, especially since you can easily change the die plate for one with different sized holes. Questions or suggestions: Why horizontal rather than vertical? Vertical seems to make more sense, because gravity and easier to load powder. Have you tried using a power drill instead of crank by hand? Why are pellets not coming out the bottom portion of the die plate? Thanks for sharing, really like your builds!
Great build 👍 ... but if you want to keep it manual, bolt it to the table and put on a larger hand-crank to make it easier... it looks like you are getting a nice workout making them pellets 😄
This is a brilliant idea my brother, thank you for sharing. It's a beautiful machine, it works and, your workmanship is amazing. Many will benefit from your idea, myself included. Again, Thank you.
If you rotate the blade once for every time you rotate the crank once, then just join the two together and you won't have to cut or crank separately. Also that flat bar, that holds the threaded, rod will bend and needs to be reinforced. You should also lenghten the threaded section to reduce friction and make it easier to crank.
Would be nice if you provide a list of materials that can be used or were used. Otherwise, awesome work. I agree with another commenter in that adding a motor would be a good idea.

Perhaps a hydraulic arrangement utilising a bottle jack, would mean less exertion on the crank handle. As it is your right arm will end up twice as big as your left. Nice hand tool skills though, and a nice idea.
I used to have a pellet stove. Went right to the factory to buy my pellets. I have serious reservations as to your machine being able to create the type of pressure you need to form the pellets properly. Sure it makes the pellets but are they hard enough to? I could e to totally wrong. Either way great build.
As my benchmark, your machine needs to accomplish these basic tasks before I give you a thumbs up, 1) Easy feed through of raw materials 2) Chop, grind and mix raw materials in the cylinder 3) Form pellets with little effort 4) No pre-processing of raw materials required. However, I admire your ingenuity and skill.

maybe a onesided blade that chops them off coming from above the pipe and goes back up again assisted by spring when you release it? then you can take apart an angle grinder and use the straight to 90*C bend mechanism rod to power it with a machine maybe flip it so the pellets fall downwards so you can easily crank the pressing plate very neat and simple
Excelente!!

This is cool but honestly if you're going through the trouble of manufacturing this yourself, you might as well slap on a motor to crank it for you.
Could take off the handle, weld the nut at the end of the threaded rod, and use a drill to power it.
