I just searched for Love Note this morning and you popped up! What a beautiful selection you have! I am a 60 year old knitter and live in Northern Ireland so two important points here… sometimes you chat about things like wool weight and terms that I don’t know or understand 😂 I am a traditional knitter who really enjoys being able to check terms online and it is great to see your changes you have made! Hey Nicole! Ive started my first Love Note and Ive gotten to the lace on the yoke. Im confused. There is an increase round #3 in the lace portion of the pattern. This doesn't make sense to me.Am I missing something??? Thanks in advance!

Nicole, your Love Notes are gorgeous. Love the embroidery on the one you’re wearing. I’ve made 4 (2 adult and 2 kids) and the pattern is always in my queue. I’m planning to make a couple more for my great nieces for Christmas. I will probably join you all in the KAL although I’m participating in the Westknits MKAL so I most likely won’t start till I’m done with that shawl. Thanks for sharing and hugs from Deep South Texas.
Yes, my first one was in your KAL 😊it’s a pink fingering and mohair. I’ve since made another, black fingering yarn and mohair. I have another planned and have apricot yarn ready to go 😊. Personally I love the lace so I would say go the lace ❤

I bought yarn for a love note sweater back during the pandemic and just never started it. I just downloaded the tin can knits app. I hope to cast on soon! I have knit the v neck boxy and the flax sweater. I have crocheted a few cardigans. I am always nervous about fit. The yarn I bought was DK because I am allergic to mohair and I live in South Texas.
I need to get the Tin Can Knits app, it sounds awesome. I've heard good things about it. also, I think a DK/no mohair version would be a great. My bestie lives in Texas and loves mohair. I'm like how?? haha

Hey Nicole! I’m going to make one in DK tweed yarn with long sleeves. My first one was fingering and mohair held together and this one will have a totally different vibe. I may not finish on time but I’m excited to knit another love note 😊 🧶
I think you're not pulling it because of the colour. It would be my least picked sweater from that bunch as well, only because the colour doesn't suit me like the others you've selected.

Love that you've made 6 Love Notes. The one I like the most is the blue one where you've knitted a different Lace pattern in the yolk. The colour suits you the most and the pattern is very feminine.
I haven’t knitted the Love Note yet but now I will after watching this video. Thanks for sharing the difference and the thinking behind your six Knit Note sweaters, they are all very pretty.
