Why did u need to pay for tires for the truck .that's company's doings .
I’m wondering why also?
It's clickbait the company always pays for it.
Alex has become a clickbait superstar!
Boy! Everytime you complain....you sound like Ray Romano.
Great video Alex, you have gotten really good at backing that rig up!! I wish your videos were longer but I understand.
As a company driver you should not be paying for any tires or maintenance the company covers that . Show us the settlement if you are for real .
That’s what I was going to say if you work for a company then they should pay for all tyres and so on that’s what happens in the uk whatever company you work for they pay for all tyres and stuff like that
@@Tomo-hb2tqYeah, my company covers all of the expenses on the truck as a company driver.
He might be an Owner Operator
Click bait.
People should not jump to conclusions, he said it COST that much to replace 5 tires. NO WHERE did he say he paid for it. If he did, he probably did not have a company credit card, so he will get reimbursed. Or the repair shop sent an invoice.
complaining about parking next refer trailer and not realizing that his APU make the same amount of noise.
😂😂😂 I park next to refer I couldn’t even hear it but sum of them are stupid loud 😂
@ngabotuyishime7075 you're right about that 😂
Reefers put me to sleep. When I drove for FFE, everytime that reefer shut off, I woke up. Guess I adapted to noise from being a 12Bravo in the army. I slept like a baby rolling around in those track units and tanks all day.
GP has electric APUs, or EPU. They're much quieter than standard APU.
You pay for tires? I thought u are a company driver? And $1000+ tires are cheap compared to $6k-$8k great tires
If he is paying for a company trucks tires then he really needs to rethink who he is driving for.
exactly,There’s no way I’m paying for tires as a company driver
Google guy 😂 and he didn't pay for those tires the company did stop the cap 😂 and one of these days u keep using Google maps u going get stuck at low bridge and Hammer is free on Google apps or apple apps please stop using Google maps because thats for cars not semi trucks 😂
If you don't see the Garmin that he is also using, you are clearly blind and need to turn in your license.
Yeah I don't use that Garmin or the other either trucker path for me
Kenneth, get your eyes checked out clearly a Garmin in his truck
Alex is a young man who is spending most of his life on the road. OG TRUCKERS I get your frustration with the kid at times but y’all gotta cut him some slack, y’all didn’t start out perfect as truckers and gotta understand that these videos also serve as Alex’s venting sound board.
Facts, tired of all these so called “truck experts” gotta give Alex a chance.
He likes to imagine he owns the truck
How so?
Click bait king.
I'm sure it didn't need tire from sitting. Just other guys were looking for an empty and they saw that one had bad tires and they left that one set there
Why? Drop off an empty trailer and pick up another EMPTY trailer? Just seems pointless but I’m not super smart
$1,478.68 isn’t bad. It cost more than that to put 5 tires on my SUV (four tires and the full size spare).
He didn't actually pay it though. The company pays for it. That's why he had to get confirmation to do it.
Lol what you drive 😂😂
@@ngabotuyishime7075I’m guessing something with aftermarket tires, my wrangler is about that for my five tires, 37” off-road tires are not cheap
Please stop the "coming up" segment.
Look at that line (to the Amazon warehouse I assume), this is why I will never work for a carrier that has accounts with Amazon. I've heard the horror stories of waiting in line for like for 3 hours to check in, just to wait 24 hrs+ to get unloaded.
Everyone focusing on the click bait title but not realizing $1,400 for 5 tires is a steal.
One of my super singles cost me 1600 after installation n everything
@@Jordenpeeedhersonsuper singles suck I prefer duals
How long till he's all gray from worrying about everything
34:13 love that trucker has put those eyes on Windshiled to make it look like the truck from cars movie xD
you nailed this video alex like the way you speed it up instead of editing out
Haven't seen any posts from you. Thought maybe you quit.. Glad to see you again
How are you in the hole ? Thought you was a company driver. Click bait,?
He is
He been lying the whole time if he gotta pay for ANYTHING on that truck then he is in a lease.. No company employee is not buying tires for there truck
Thanks for the photo Alex really appreciate it
Alex, love your videos. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
Yeah thats a DAF LF. We have them at work here. Daf is part of the Paccar group same as Kenworth. Funny seeing one with a Kenworth badge on 😆
Knew that was a DAF😂
Thought it strange a DAF vehicle like we get here in the UK, with a Kenworth badge.
@@southwestmart I know weird hey!. I now want a Kenworth badge for my CF would make it 100X cooler 😎 😃 Ebay here I come. 😆
Hang in there Alex, Nice to see you feel more and more confident with backing up. Really cool to know that a fan stopped by and said hello, if I ever see you I would do the same and your company knows how committed you are to getting the job done. 🙏❤🌟✌
hey Alex, I have a question for you. What is the longest trip you ever made bobtail? I have a new drive just pissed me off. He was assigned to meet me in my Georgia yard with a loaded trailer, I was bringing him a loaded trailer for Alabama. The dimwit brought the trailer to Nort Carolina yard and never told me or dispatch what he was doing. So I had to run from Northern Georgia to North Carolina yard where he was being held up. In the 8 years my uncles company has been in business no one has ever quit or been fired. Brian and both were pissed off and I told the guy if he doesn't want to listen to Brian's directions he can go back to U S Express. He's lucky I don' take the $700 to refuel both trucks out of his pay. I made him follow me to the truck stop and refuel. It just takes one idiot to screw up a tightly knitted schedule. I told Brian to schedule him go pick up that trailer and deliver it. I also told him the guy has one strike on him one more he's gone, I had to drive almost 250 miles bobtail.
Who's Brian?
Might want to not steal from your employees. There several laws in place about that lol.
@@craigdarby9533 Former state police officer 20 years, I promoted to general manager and he's worked for the company 8 with a cdl.
@@charlesmilton8146 I don't steal from anybody but he did cost the company $527 because he failed to follow directions. They were to meet in the Georgia yard swap trailers head out to Alabama and deliver. Now I have to do some team driving with a different driver to get it there on time.
That ge plant is always a bit whack when it comes to drop offs and pick ups. They squirrel their loaded trailers all the way in the back.
20:50: We got ourselves a stand off.
@alexthetruckingguy you’re getting thick bro! Work out program must be working 💪
He's on that Hot Pockets diet.
Yay my truck made it in at GE it was nice meeting you Im the red freightliner pullin jb
8 22.5inch Michelin winter tires in Canada is around 7500 dollars
Look at you nailing backing in one try!! Be proud of how good you are now.
He fast forwards when he backs up..he’s not nailing it in one go!!I guarantee you that!!!!
Was that after he left the first truck stop because he couldn't get into a spot after 6 trys???
What time stamp did he back up in one shot? I saw him give up after failing and go to another truck stop in shame
Lmao just read those comments and never reply
Then I have to pick up another delivery.
Great videos Alex. Enjoy your comments. I consider you're just verbally thinking out loud and being expressive. It's not like these haters thought to themselves, because drivers usually are solo. This is why a lot of subscribers follow you. I can't believe these guys are so hateful, they're like a bunch of cackling gossips. Keep up the good work and God Bless!
You doing very good parking congratulation
No he is not, his set ups are off which causes him to struggle and take way longer than needed, thats why he has to edit his back ins to make it look quickly
My favorite UA-camr of all time. Awesome to see a fan come up and say hello to you! Getting closer to 1 million subscribers. Keep up the great content!
Wonder what the secret is?
On 5 tires? That's was cheap I got 8 michelin xdn2 on my truck and cost me around 6k😢
phase of the dày " Where you doing" Where you going😂😂😂
😂 or start singing backing up
My amazing best truck driver ALEX, the good one is you dont read this masajes besarse you're ECUATORIANO/GREENGO, pero déjame decirte que te está creciendo todo eso espero que todo. ❤
Those trailer tires are just fine. Lmao 😂
I like that you include the payouts now
I pick up there at GE a lot, be careful of the geese, they are everywhere around there, they have taken over the place. 😅 and the yard dog was dropping one of my company trailers in lot N as I approached him 👍🏼
Alex, have you seen the black dog yet?
Everything you do for you and for your job in the truck is a possible tax deduction. Hang onto all receipts let accountant bookkeeper have it and decide. Be surprised how it can add up over the year.
He didn't pay for crap. Why would he hold on to receipts?
In Nashville that called the Batmen building. The At&t Building
Listening to the same song for 10 hours? I'm sure that's an exaggeration, right? There are so many good audio books and pod-casts these days. I'm thinking about getting a Class A as a second career just to have time to listen to them.
Serious question, isn’t that an automatic ‘truck’?
Do you even have eyes like 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ you can literally see it it is Auto
Cascadia's are automatic as standard as far as I'm aware, although there is a manual option offered by Eaton Fuller.
Yes. Lots of trucks are automatics now. Especially if you are working for a carrier of any real size.
Look at you backing up like you know what you’re doing.
I’ve picked up at that GE before.
Tires for big rigs are 300 to 400 a tire there is no way this dude got them for cheaper and if he did I’m sure I would not choose a inferior tire. I only put the best on my rig, tires are a crucial part of safety this is why you check them before after every run. I’m curious as to why he only bought 5 tires and not 6 doesn’t make sense.
Today in Charlotte, I saw one of your trucks delivering something.... I looked for cameras but it wasn't you . keep trucking
If you're ever in Northern CA let me know!
dude those gluten free fig newtons are my go to!
Watch out HE,S backing up
Doing good on the clickbait. I was wondering if you were a company driver or lease owner but I got my answer. Here's a tip, If you don't know nothing from nothing then you do not ask the mechanic if you need tires or not. You got your company scammed on the 5 tires. Sitting 5 months don't affect anything on a trailer. The belly dump I pull sits from late November to April and I hook and go. If you're worried about anything it would be the hub oil which 99% of you rookies don't check. Alot of you guys don't know the first thing about driving because you weren't taught to drive, you were taught to pass the test.
Is there app for directions just for truck drivers , just asking
I thought you were a company driver
I didn't know how far trucks came over the years looks like your driving from the driving seat
3:06 loved the Timelapse! Nice one Alex!
Ya
Yep this goes back to one of my comments on another truck drivers video.. If you own your own truck and trailer you need to be at least getting 6 dollars a mile in order to cover the expenses and repairs on your equipment.
If you need that much per mile you don't understand trucking or how to run a trucking company.
Explain to me how you can be sustainable below six dollars a mile in todays economy. Are you at least taking home a paycheck for your family? @@thfabtlm
Just finished first week of cdl school! I hope to drive for gp transco in the future like you
Congrats 🎉
Good luck with your career 🙏🏻 may you be safe out there
You don’t want do that !! Go somewhere else transco don’t pay you enough
Kenworth doesn’t really make that little box truck it’s a DAF from Europe with a kw badge
Leave the repairs for the next driver to deal with. Great look for gp
Still no collaboration
He did not pay for those tires. Alex is getting smart with Y tube click bait promos. LOL
Ong like relax people will still watch you videos 😂😂
SMH...How is a title "-$1,478.68 In The Hole On 5 New Tires" clickbait?
The kenworth box truck is what we call a DAF LF in europe
We are hiring at UPS. Either 705 feeder which is local or 710 which it over the road. After 4 years you make 49.37 an hour and free health insurance after 40 days. Just wanted to comment to see if you would be interested
Nice try FBI.
Hey Alex like the VLOGs love Equador
Be safe
Brother
You’ll never see this but do everything off duty and when you’re done put yourself on duty and then edit your log for like 10 minutes. You may have done a 25 minute pre trip for example. Do it off duty and log it for 10 minutes or 15 minutes or less it’s electronic logs so it goes by the minute not 15 minute increments
Was that a RR crossing at 4:43?
aye yo alex u was right in my city tha was palumbo dr u was in at the bigging of the video that’s what up welcome to lex ky
Everyone saying it's clickbait. IDK maybe he had to pay upfront and they reimbursed him back 🤷🏼 Alex seems like a stand-up dude I don't think he would lie to us just for a title. IMO
He lies when he says he has brake temperature gauges on his dash.
He's a company driver. You don't pay for anything regarding truck and trailer aside from parking. And even then he says his company reimburses that. I've had plenty of trailer tires replaced at no cost to me other than time. Yeah it sucks but end of the day you're not out 1.4k like he says he is.
If you're parked next to that reefer and it's running you're going to hear it no matter how far back you are COMMMOOONNN!!😂
That's cheap man. Here in the Netherlands. For one heavy hull Tire we pay over 4k euro's maybe over 5 k
Tight is good!
I'm here for the moaning when he backs up
Yooo Wtf 😂😂😂😂
I said, umm.. are you okay? lol
Observe how every time he turns the steering wheel he lets out a soft grunt like it is hard to turn even with power steering...
😂@@scottied67 the child needs to give this gig up because clearly this isn't for him..
0:34
how are you in tha hole and fucc $1400 for 5 tires is pretty damn good. i paid that for 2 new steers lol
Imported kenworth Daf truck
Welcome to trucking
i noticed that white cabover you passed when passing that long line of trucks,,,,hydrogen or electric,,,,,could'nt make out the brand,,,was'nt a nikola
It’s definitely more than $1000 dollars tires aren’t cheap
Those tires are still good and runnable.
Yeah I'm not sure why he's freaking out. Unless you can see the wires or it's a drag flat, it should be good to go. The cracking is probably because it's a retread. Just my guess anyway
Who buys 5 tires? Usually 8-10 at a time assuming your alignment and tire pressure is correct.
Who is in the hole?
Bro is funny 😂
Youll make that $1400 back in no time...
ive juhh got my CDLs but im 19 do anyone know a company or tips for me✊🏾
Create, or Kllm, or GP Transco.
Cdls? Did you get more than 1?
@@justinhiner3146 he's only 19 cut him a break.
Got be 21 to go out state didn’t they tell that in school??
@@OhiostategenerationxGP Transco doesn't hire people straight out of school and, at 19, he can't go over the road.
What a joke. He has no business in a truck but that's 90 % of what's out here
Clickbait title
His Company will obviously reimburse him
Hi Alex I am so happy you put of a new video we all in trucking have had bad days just really happy your ok my friend .
If I am not mistaken I think Alex normally post 2 a week. 1 on Sundays & 1 around Wednesday.
Yes I was looking at that today thank you for the info
What’s with all the negativity in the comments. You made it clear you’re a company driver and a responsible one. You’ll be an owner operator eventually. Thanks for the great content.
Alex I just joined your Chanel literally about 20min ago watched a few videos and I’m getting ready to get my CDL permit so I can join a company to teach me how to drive when you deliver a load is that it strictly paid by the load
oh no theres a truck 600 feet from me,,, whata ya doin man
Hahahaha! Trucking is not a video game! You make money from the social media and not from the truck! Welcome to the club! The party is over!
Alex, YOU’RE FIRED. 😢
With all the wasted time I don't know how this kid still has a Job. The profit margins are so small of freight these days no company can sestain that much non productivity
Cry cry cry 😂
They always give the trl that needs any repairs to the driver that costs THEM more money than they make for the company. Thats why they wouldn't let u get a good trailer!!! Don't make money waiting for repairs... 😢😢
A smart driver hooks into a good trailer and books on our way to the next load. You send your loaded call when the next office shift starts and it is quickly forgotten which trailer they wanted you to pick up.
