How long have you been driving for now??? You didn’t need to completely drive all the way out and then back in just pull forward abit and move over 1-2 foot
You are so much nicer than I am. I’d be making a scene about those cars being parked on the side in front of the dock. I’d be like who the heck made layout needs to be fired. I’d like being a truck driving up til the point you have to deliver to a place like this with no care for a semi truck delivery

Hey Alex. I started watching you when you were at CFI. I made the decision when I turned 21 to go with CFI as well. I can now understand why you, and others have left there. The 4 months I’ve been here it’s gone downhill 🤣😬. It’s a learning process, but I’m glad that I ran into your channel. Thanks for your fantastic content. You’re an inspiration to me and others who are interested in the trucking industry. I appreciate you sharing your trucking adventures. Safe travels Alex.
That doesn’t even make sense. The area that you were in may have been “overpopulated and limited parking”, but that does not speak for the rest of the state. I don’t think yelling at dispatch will solve the problem for you.
Oh dear God, you perfect people, you never had a bad day? Never had the urge to just yell at someone when your day is harder than usual? Are you truckers at least? If so, you must have had one of those days. Doesn’t mean you expect the dispatch to solve the problem, you just need to vent.
@@CodeByKen I was in the process of replying to the lady trucker when I read your comment, which was well written, and I agree that taking out your frustration on someone else that did nothing to you is not the way you vent. And no, I don’t have the urge to yell at others when I’m having a “bad day”.
Not sure if you know this or not alex but your passenger mirror is POWER....move it as you blind side so you can see behind you.....its much much easier using that right power mirror than anything else.
Good job backing up! Brings back memories of getting to stops and never knowing what it's going to be like. Very stressful! I would have asked them to move some of the Cintas trucks if I needed to. I've been to places where I've had to have them move cars for me.
Why's it so hard? Your front wheels are straight when you slide the tandems to the rear of the trailer, why turn the steering wheel when you back up into the dock whenever you're set up? Your the truck driver not me
I thought I heard you say that your freightliner with automatic transmission jerks when in reverse. Mine would do that , I really hated that, always thought I would hit something or someone. I told company safety guy many times that it scares me also so if I hit something in reverse that I could tell him that I told you about it. The shop readjusted air pressure to transmission and it got better but not great. Also you should get in the habit of closing your cab door so it doesn't get taken out.
He literally stands on the brake pedal so hard when he is sitting still that it raises himself up off the seat a little....brake chambers will bust during cold weather doing that and will bust cold air lines......wow lol
@ALEXTHETRUCKINGGUY I can agree with you when you said that people go to slow around you in the left Lane because when I'm driving between Columbus and Dublin Ohio I see lot of thoughts crazy drivers and I don't like being around a slow car driver but a slow semi i'm ok with if I'm not being passed by a fast driver if I'm not in a harry somewhere.

Maybe I’m used to tight spots since my shops yard is always packed and tight, but that was a lot of struggle and fuss for a relatively straight forward dock. Either way you got it eventually and thats all that matters

You were better off blind siding it, you need to practice it sometime. Plus there wasn't any other trucks there so you had plenty of room.
Sight side is always preferred..... don't tell another driver how they should do their job,
It's only supposed to be done with a spotter, and finding one would have taken just as long as turning around and doing it sight side.
