For real… years ago when I was making apps I had them rejected over and over making me miss release dates for clients. Learned the hard way that I would tell my clients “once we get to the point of submitting the app we’re at the mercy of Apple on when it hits the App Store.”
I hope in the near future Apple gets more lax with allowing JIT usage, mobile apple devices have insanely good CPUs so if they could clear that hurdle then I think Gamecube and ps2 emulation would be a breeze

I can finally get the feeling I got a few years ago when I had android 😂 And comparing before on android I had poco f1 when it first came out as flagship but playing certain games like Artic age and flat out didn’t seem to be that smooth but now on my iPhone 11 it works butter smooth and I think the fps is also constant and stable like around 50-60 on iPhone than on the psp itself which gives around 20-30 fps if I’m correct

It will come, give it time. Apple is going full throttle for gaming on their platforms, and they need to give every kind of tools to devs to port their apps at full potential. Maybe not now, maybe not tomorrow, but i think in some months things will change; afterall now iPhone has to compete with Android in emulation, and lack of JIT will make iPhone appear weak, which isn't something Apple will be happy for.
@@oo--7714 That is not what this is about. Apple is tryin to boost the game creation in their platform aka IOS because they’re main priority is the AR-VR hybrid Apple Vision Pro. In order to capitalize the VR marker share which they’re sayin is the future, they need more developers in their platform and so they’re slowly loosening their restrictions. The literal dream of VR enthusiasts are VRMMO games, and for that to happen Apple needs more experienced developers and the developers need more freedom to create.

The developer really wants to release the Dolphin 🐬 emulator for iOS/iPadOS. But Apple restricts JIT (Just-In-Time) recompiling on their iOS/iPadOS platforms. I understand the reasoning though, as allowing such a thing makes the device unsafe.
I’ve been a ppsspp fan since 2014, a literal child, it’s absolutely nuts seeing this come to life on iOS, I bought gold just to support the developers too, my backbone is about to experience true torture 😂
Ios is almost on the level of android for emulation. But they guna need jit since android allows jit. That way more comparisons can be done with android and iphone emulation. Crazy since the sideload option that was already there allows ways to activate jit.
It's still out there just not on the play store. And aethersx2 I believe is on m1 and m2 macs running really well even at high res so iphones would do well with it.
For me PPSSPP and Delta is fine for me, very happy I can now have them on my iPhone. My 14 Pro Max runs Killzone Liberation at 4X resolution great! But it really needs a controller. I’ll have to set up the FPS to see how fast it’s running.
I have a problem when I went to emulator games and download games on psp on my iPhone and play them but there was no sound and I can’t hear music and the voices which sucks is there anyway to fix it

This remined me of my days with iPhone 3gs. This is awesome for the iphone user. I will still be using Android as its more open and customizable.
