First? I actually picked up a xxx-t rtr (2?) A few months ago that was absolutely mint. Its insane to find rc that are this old that look as if you just pulled them out of the box.. That is a seriously awesome truck you have there and I really appreciate the footage on it. The xxx-t was always special to me so I love seeing anything on them :)
My first new R/C was a Losi XXX/sct. Later I got a XXX/B racing edition then a XXX/t with no body and my friend had a Mini/T for sale with a slash for sale so I got them.
I have a few old retro RC's laying around in my garage from years ago when I was into the hobby and racing. I have a Losi NXT, XXXT and XXXS. The NXT has been run hard but the XXXT and XXXS are in great condition. Going to get the batteries charged back up and give it a rip around the driveway.
I love that truck very nice! It looks too nice to run haha. I’d run it on grass mabey if it was mine. This was the truck I dreamed about when I was a very young teenager I was about 13 when they came out needless to say I didn’t have the money then . Just was getting into rc hobby and this truck was all over the magazines. Always wanted one of those xxx-t blue spec trucks also from the era
FYI the CR was the last XXX for the buggy and truck. Although the truck was not very different from the past editions unlike the CR rear end of the buggy.
Fumes only! I soaked old vintage stadium wheels in acetone and melted them. My new JConcepts wheels soak directly in acetone no problem. Had no idea the old ones would melt.
Tlr guys always have there inspiration piece, for me it was the double x buggy. Most guys do know the history of of Losi and associated but Gill Losi had a hand in the design and development of the rc 10 which who's winning winning races Gill was developing the jrx which was popular when it debuted but Gill Jr developed the double and the double is the race pedigree that thrust Team Losi into the Championships in 1996 and then in 2000 with the double X4 people are missing the true history of what really put tlr on the podium. Everybody wants that rc10 but it was that designed the rc10, then came the JRX and the jrx2. The jrx2 most popular in had a lot of potential but never really competed put the double x went on to winning the world's in 1996 under Gill Losi Junior and he developed double x 4 which took the world's again and that's what thrusted team Losi under the podium and made tlr what it is today
I don't get how you guys keep finding these trucks every time I find one that's in decent enough condition the price is over $1009 dollars some times would be nice to even get one what brand new ones are going for right now would be nice but that'll never happen.
Damn, that's a great looking stadium truck, nice!!
Hey Ari it came out great! Glad to be of help and thanks for the shout outs!

To not only have a xxxt but the best one (imo) is super awesome brother. Love that you're actually going to run it as well. Looks absolutely amazing.

That body is amazing!
I had one of the kits that I put together in 2001 I can't believe it's a collectible item now. I do have that Adam Drake Edition.
Awesome truck and awesome story! I haven’t paid much attention to Losi but this one was designed really nice. I like it!
I love your work thank you

Love it mate. Best looking of the XXXT for me. I'll never be able to get one, I'll have to stick with my mint XXX BK2.

The XXXT isn't the Matt Francis edition but it has all of the same upgrades that come with the Matt Francis edition except for the red wheels.
This is awesome Ari
Wish they still made these
step pin red dot losi rear tires will work good on your type surface track with the xxx.

I won over 40 trophies with a XXX graphite, I still have a couple old body's and a box full of tires, some never used

Does look really good - was looking at one of these (not Mat Francis, just standard) or the RC10T Team Truck. Alas I havent bought either so far. :(
The last of the original style of stadium trucks! Before the slash looking trucks took over.
XXXT MF is the greatest stadium truck ever made!

Not a Losi guy but a great looking truck!
that thing looks dope.. why they don't bring these back is beyond me
I have an entire xxxt mf 1 with a ton of extra parts. Hooked it up with a brushless setup. Fast as hell...need a back up car hit me up.
23rd comment!
Probably not, but it would be cool!
I have 3 of those, trying to sell em too.
If you decide to sell some of the boxes let me know. I will buy some of them
