The WNBA was growing (slowly), but with the arrival of the high profile rookies like Clark it has resulted in Exponential growth for the WNBA - something none of the “old heads” so to speak, were able to accomplish. But that happens throughout history that someone redefines the game and helps it grow.
I mean after all, Michael Jordan, Steph Curry, Lebron James, and many others when they came in to the league redefined the game and I don’t recall many, if any, NBA players trying to take that away from them.

If you pay attention, you can see how they are spinning this narrative of it all being because of CC. I’m from Washington state and the Seattle storm usually gets like 6500-8000 average attendance to games. Caitlin and her team played the storm the other night and sold out the arena with almost 20,000 people there.

In the past they showed all wnba highlights, now it's all cc. If they truly cared about the wnba they would be pushing to show more of the whole league in between the cc videos. Those other women are not relatable or likeable. Thats the problem. Caitlin is likeable and people relate to her. If nobody likes you and you are always angry nobody wants to be watch or be around that. I learned that in my own life.
