Absolutely! As someone who grew up in the early 90's with basically the golden age of Disney movies, we felt like we were on a magical ride in movies like Aladdin and Hook, and that was mostly because of Robin. The great thing about him too is that he was just as much of a genius in dramatic movies as he was in comedies in my view. Good Will Hunting, What Dreams May Come, Dead Poets Society, the list goes on... Along with names like Steven Spielberg, Robin Williams is one of the most influential names in the movie/entertainment industry. He was THAT impactful!
It's halfway into 2024 and whenever I watch something he is in, or hear his name... i still cry and get choked up. I really hope he knows now how much he was truly adored and made America laugh and cry (depending on the movie). I really miss him.
I love how rather than ruminate on the sadness of the loss they immediately choose to celebrate the genius that Robin Williams was through all these awesome stories.
Haha...me too. Even watched all the Mork and Mindy videos on yt and ordered most of his movies and watched quite a few. Obsessed is right. He was so funny, cute, great actor.

Robin Williams was an incredible humanitarian - he will be greatly missed...look into the many charities that he donated to and donate in his honor....keep his memory alive!
It will be 10 years this year… how fast has that time gone 💔 I grew up absolutely devouring Robin’s movies and it wasn’t until he died that I started ingesting all of his stand up and his interviews… now that I’ve seen it all, I can’t imagine how inconsolably devastated I would be if he’d passed now. I look at my childhood as such a happy time, and Robin had a lot to do with that. The thing that makes me happy is that his presence is still felt… his impact on the world was so undeniable, so now it’s ubiquitous. My children now love him and all his movies, and I can’t wait to show my grandchildren one day. The thing I love about humour is that it’s universal. Everyone loves to laugh. And Robin wasn’t just one personality, he was a million rolled into one. We can all find something we love in him. Oh Captain, my captain, rest easy ❤️
Don't judge mental illness. Don't call someone mentally weak. You have not walked in their shoes nor do you understand the overwhelming terror that grips their very core! This is depression with a super hold and the actions you take while in its grip should not be held against you. I lost my brother to suicide and while I would never condone someone taking their life, I certainly realize that action is often the only way out of the terrible sickness they live with, day in, day out. They feel is the only way out. Prior to my brother's death, I may have held a similar thought about the action being some kind of choice. It really isn't though. RIP Dave and Robin Williams!
Diane Skelliter Don't call men who've lost everything in unfair divorce laws "mentally ill". Robin was massively mistreated by unfair marriage laws which always take from men. He was paying lifetime alimony to two exwives! He was facing a third failed marriage which would greatly increase his monthly bills to these predatory bitches right when he was trying to retire! That's a serious strain for ANYONE to face (lucky for you, women never have to face this, only divorced men). It's not a "mental illness" to suffer under such injustice!
Your agenda has nothing to do with my statement regarding the very real disease of mental illness and depression. I'm not interested in an ongoing discussion, on this particular forum, on unfair divorce practices.
Diane Skelliter You're comment has nothing to do with the actual LEGAL punishments men face (and ROUTINELY kill themselves over). Labeling that mental illness is a way to ignore the truth.
Robin Williams was really the only person I always wanted to meet and have a conversation with. Out of everyone, his passing was the hardest for me to take, and I still feel it. He's a big inspiration for my humor and creativity and I respect and miss him still. I'll always miss you, RIP Robin Williams.. you were a true gem.. and you'll be missed.
It's still so hard to believe he's gone. 6 1/2 years later, it still hurts your heart. I always wanted to meet him given I'm only 100 or so miles away from San Francisco but, sadly I never got that chance. To quote Aladdin, "Genie, you're free." 🙏🏽🙏🏽💙💜
I feel that every time we lose an entertainer we are being robbed of so much talent. I just think that heaven is a place of peace and laughter. Imagine, George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Robin Williams, to name a few.
Amazing stories. I love hearing the personal side of things it gives this feeling of connectivity :) When someone is that close to someone who passes no amount of words can do any justice. RIP Robin.
I never new him or got to see his act. But i felt deeply saddened by his death. No other celebrity death hit me like the news of robin williams. 5 years later and i still feel sad we lost such an amazing entertainer. He was a amazing actor and comedian. There will never be another like him.
Molly Feinstein He's impossible to forget! I grew up watching him ever since Mork & Mindy first aired on tv. He made me laugh so big time but my favourite piece of work he ever did was actually Dead Poets society. He was so brilliant in that movie...as always. Oh captain my captain, smooth sailing to more comfortable waters and shores where peace will be upon you... RIP Robin...the world will never be the same without you!
Robin Williams was and is my favorite actor and comic. Was a real kick to the gut when I heard. My initial reaction was like so many millions of others: "NO!". You were one in a trillion, Robin. RIP.

I grew up absolutely devouring Robin’s movies and it wasn’t until he died that I started ingesting all of his stand up and his interviews… now that I’ve seen it all, I can’t imagine how inconsolably devastated I would be if he’d passed now.
8 years since he left us... it is still unbelievable and so sad. Rest in Peace, Robin 🖤
Such a sweet guy and you can see how torn up he is about Robin. So sad but very cute stories!
R.I.P Robin Williams.
he is the best! rip
You're face sucks
Hoobo Dakloos
Hey, let's make a poll on who sucks more, you or Robin. Oh wait, I don't want you to be fucking devastated. Although...

***** You are right
Still missing robin williams 2019 😢😢
And in 2021 😢
Robin Williams did so many great and funny things that I'm still hearing new ones... RIP
"O Captain, my Captain.. Can't watch his movies now without feelings of over whelming sadness.. What a loss.. 💔
No probs. God bless.
still watching this 8 years later and still can’t believe that he’s gone
2019 and we still miss him every day
It's been almost three years and I still feel the deepest sadness when I think of the wonderful legend Robin Williams is
Fantastic! Jimmy you should have just a evening with close friends of Robin Williams and just tell stories like this.
Fantastic idea!!!!
Robin Williams was really the only person I always wanted to meet and have a conversation with. Out of everyone, his passing was the hardest for me to take, and I still feel it. He's a big inspiration for my humor and creativity and I respect and miss him still. I'll always miss you, RIP Robin Williams.. you were a true gem.. and you'll be missed.
oh man lol, that bus ride would have been epic
If I was on that bus I of probably peed myself from laughing so hard !!

*~"Smile, my boy It's sunrise."~*
SaLGames the last words he ever said in a movie. and they're truly wonderful
Yes, They truly are wonderful. *R.I.P*
RIP Robin.
Happy birthday, Robin. You are deeply loved and missed. 💜🕊️
He left us 10 years ago today…. 😢
I never new him or got to see his act. But i felt deeply saddened by his death. No other celebrity death hit me like the news of robin williams. 5 years later and i still feel sad we lost such an amazing entertainer. He was a amazing actor and comedian. There will never be another like him.
Robin's spirit will live on forever. I miss knowing that his physical body is present in the world.
He did an amazing job, and the way he held it together
Rest in Peace, Robin Williams. People in the world will remember you always
8 years!!! The tragedy grows more every year
Miss ya still
R.I.P Robin Williams. We love you and will never forget you😭
Molly Feinstein He's impossible to forget!

RIP.
I'm watching this in 2017 and man alive I still teary about the fact that robin Williams is gone cause he was such a part of my childhood from Aladdin to jumanji to good will hunting. I get why he did it but it's still sad that he's not physically on the planet but his legacy is as present as ever
Britney isallyouneedtoknow yeah I still feel sad he's gone ... he's sadly gone but will never be forgotten
Six years later and I still cry when I see Robin or hear a tribute to him. I hope he’s out there somewhere seeing just how much he was loved. Some people you just never get over. 💔
It was weird hearing Mike Wizowski say "motherfucker"
I think I have watched everything on robin williams on UA-cam.and I still look until today. Miss him greatly.
one of my favorite robin Williams tributes is a picture of the genie from aladdin that said your free genie
I miss him every day. We lost such a talent and light in our lives.
