Never in my life have I imagined seeing Don Rickles, Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, and Robin Williams on the same stage. Absolutely Amazing. And Mr. Rickles can make you laugh so hard and at the end make you teary eyed.
I remember watching this on TV when it came out back in 92. The whole show was absolutely amazing and hilarious. They really need to bring it back today and like Don said go through a healing process for the whole country.

It's because he got better with age. When he was younger he was this manic, kind of coked-up dude. As he aged, and his energy level went down a bit, I think he found out that he could do the same thing, with the same or better result, with minimal energy - it became effortless.

He did his acts with so much class and he truly taught people to laugh at the world and at ourselves. He practiced what he preached and people who knew him loved him. Never heard anyone said anything bad about the man. That is testament enough as to what a great human being he truly was.
What a wonderful soul he was. He was fortunate enough that the act of making fun of everyone, sometimes what we may think of as overboard today, wasn’t earned place. He was a person who developed that persona and held up to such a high standard, that you didn’t care what he said, you knew he was to be in fact and in practice a wonderful human being.

I was always watching Don and Rodney D. when they came to the Carson show. I loved Don because he just had this special quality to fit in and shine comically in ANY SITUATION on any show or performance. He will always be a legend ❤.. one of the Greatest to ever be on stage.
