....same symptoms. My Ob diagnosed me of PCOS cause by hormonal imbalance particularly insulin resistance is the main culprit. In PCOS with insulin resistance cravings of carbs and sweet is the most intense and hard to control specially when your stress and burnout you tend to over eat those carbs and sweets. My Ob advised me to do calorie deficiet and exrcise to lose at least 9 kg (I am 59 kg,4"11 petite I am overweight) before using insulin supplements and magnesium to maximize the full effect. For now I am in pill for 6 months and 3 months diabetic medication to control those cravings.
I had never heard of PCOS before if im being honest. I did start gaining a lot of weight when i hit puberty because i started eating huge portions. I did not think about it at the time, so i kept eating these big portions for years and i gained a lot of weight. This probably started when i was like 11 -12 maybe? And though the years my period started to become more and more inconsistent. We all just thought it was because of the weight gain. I also started getting extremely hairy thighs but i also thought that was just the weight (which i guess it kinda is because of the high testosterone) anyways, my period started coming like 2-4 times a year and i started having a burning feeling whenever i would have my "period" ( it would just be a very small bleeding, i still have that burning feeling sometimes btw) anyways sorry i keep draging this out hahah but when i finally went to the gyncologist she said that my eggs were fine and she had me take a blood test. Sometime later when we came back she told my i had PCOS, which i had never heard before and took sometime to understand what it was. But it explained SOOOO much about my body and why things were the way they were with my weight gain, my increased bodyhair and my period. I found out when i was maybe 18-19 years old (i am now 21) oh and maybe i should add that i did go to doctors and dietist for my overweight when i was younger but no doctor ever thought about it being PCOS, they just i was kid that really loved food. I am still overweight and barely have my period, i weigh like 130kg. I am in the process with a overweight unit to hopefully get approved for a overweight surgery and hopefully i can start reclaiming my body a bit If you have read all this way then im impressed and glad that you were interested at the same time haha, sorry for the long story but it is mine😁
i had my first pcos when I was 19 years old sis plss check your vitamins like vitamin b complex specially (B6, B12) magnesium citrate, omega 3,6,9 vitamin E , vitamins D and iron 💞The Biggest game changer is to drink green tea 2 times a day , moringa juice, high protein foods, chamomile tea, ginger tea I'm 23 years old and almost healed myself 💙 I'm so sorry English isn't my first language 💗 have a nice day sis , I promise you will be healthy again
Both xylitol and erythritol are better than regular sugar for PCOS. These have minimal impact on your blood sugar levels, but using them in moderation is essential. Opt for healthier alternatives like raw honey or jaggery in small amounts, as they offer nutrients, and natural, low-GI options. Always pair sweeteners with fiber-rich or balanced meals that will support your insulin resistance. Hope this helps!
I’m at my heaviest I’ve ever been. I’m desperate to lose weight. I lost the weight not once, but twice in my life, and got down to a healthy weight, but then it inevitably always creeps back on, seemingly no matter what I do. I can literally starve myself and not eat for days and not see any difference on the scale. I’m at my whits end. At this point I’m so disappointed and demotivated I don’t know what will work. I recently was put back on Spironolactone for my PCOS but the also prescribed Metformin which gave me constant stomach aches and diarrhea (sorry TMI but it was a real symptom of the medication) and now I’ve stopped taking it again because I really didn’t like being permanently attached to my toilet. 😭 Does anyone have success with Metformin and what do you eat on it because I heard you can’t eat any carbs at all but last time I checked humans need at least a little bit of carbs to live??? How do I make sure I get all my daily vitamins and minerals without eating *any* carbs? Do chickpeas and legumes cause the same issues as bready carbs like pasta and gluten? How can you have a healthy low carb diet and get proper nutrition at the same time? If you are on a low carb diet with Metformin, please let me know what you eat with it that doesn’t make you sick?!?

I am ao fed up of my pcos. Its a never ending battle. I am so over it. 😢
Can you make a video on how to better manage depression and anxiety that comes with pcos
What type of sugar I can eat with PCOS? Xylothol or erythritol is good or still bad for insulin resistence? Thank you for your respond 🙏🏻

@@SavikalpaSciences Thank you so much! 🙏🏻❤️❤️
It started when I was a teen growing facial and neck hair where it wasn’t supposed to grow.
I have every symptom but my doctor refuses to admit that it is PCOS.... Just wants to put me on antidepressants to try and help me not over eat😢😢😢😢😢
ı live all these in extreme but I don't know whether all these are symptom of pcos or high cortisol
PCOS is also associated with high cortisol levels . Also, you can get screened with Low dose dexamethasone test to rule out Cushings.
Thank you for your advise
