He really wasn't as smooth on the mic back then as he would eventually become, but in terms of just how effective his character was, you could totally argue Bray's best years were like 2012-2013. And yes, the realization that that was over a decade ago DOES make me feel like a goddamn dinosaur.

Bray Wyatt was always a great character for people who only watch wrestling and don't read, watch movies, or enjoy other art forms.
This is easily the best version of bray wyatt the fiend sucked it wasn't all his fault it's all on vince mcmahon this was great stuff.

Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family were the gimmick that brought me back to wrestling fandom. The Wyatts were that pseudo-Christian cult, singing "Joy in my heart" and "Whole World in His Hands". It was easier to book them versus other wrestlers. After WWE broke them up, Bray couldn't be a cult leader anymore, and they booked him like pure sh-t. But I loved when he won the title, even though it buried Rollins.
Vinny needs to re-learn how to speak. His voice/cadenence is maddening.
Swamp Bray was best Bray. Bolieve was best Bo Dallas
Swamp Cult Leader Bray was far and away Windham's best work. All the spooky gimmicks after were lame wrestlecrap.
Hillbilly Cult leader Bray Wyatt was great & could've worked well in a pro wrestling context. He was ruined pretty much from his debut on the main roster, with the super natural nonsense
Vinny hates women's wrestling
Most serious fans of wrestling do. The skill and ability difference between the divisions are insane. I understand it if you like to watch attractive women but even then, most of their builds aren’t very feminine and you can find more attractive models to simp over in other forms of entertainment.
Only perverts and people obsessed with modern political fads - like pretending men and women are “equal” in everything - like women’s wrestling. You can sometimes get a really good one, but for the most part the depth of quality is never there to have an entire division that is interesting.
What a brilliant mind he had. Huge loss for the industry.
