totally agree about the earlier ronins not being very "pro", but everything u said about RS2 lacking in features has changed now with the introduction of a million accessories from tilta.

Dude why are you talking about a gimbal you know nothing about? You can attach a focus motor and you can attach a big monitor. I know this for a fact because i own it and ive done it.

I appreciate your thoughts! You are correct that I haven't used the RS 2 personally and I apologize if I was unclear. What I'm specifically speaking to is the fact that there is no integrated p-tap power on the unit. When you compare the RS 2 to the Ronin 2, the Ronin 2 can easily power a teradek, as well as a 7" monitor and any focus motor on the market through the integrated batteries and p-tap power ports. If I'm not mistaken, the only way to power 3rd party accessories (other than some DJI gear) on the RS 2 is through other means-- separate batteries attached to the unit, etc. To me the RS 2 just doesn't feel as competent as the ronin 2 on a high level set. But I'm willing to hear your insight!

With the Tilta Ring you can use small V locks that will power the whole rig plus my high bright Small Hd monitor on the RS2 and the pass through plate from Tilta i has Dtap power for my Teradek so i’m not sure what you say here is strictly true anymore?

Sorry for the confusion. I meant now we have 2 cameras on set and the Komodo lives on the gimbal all day so transitioning from the helium/shoulder rig to the gimbal/komodo saves us time.

If your bank is in bad conditions, I’d get the rs2. But for the ones that need the most, the ronin 2 is good.

They are really hard to come by right now because of low stock. I would try RED.com. It should be the fastest way to receive it.
