I have that same TFO 6' 2pc UL rod spooled up with 6lb braid and a 4lb flouro leader. It's about as much fun as you can have with an ultralight in your hand!
Yes it is the best fishing channel on youtube. Just honest fishing. Your efforts to provide content is appreciated and inspiring and… you’re a natural for relating to us all. I’m starting to go out here in NJ but the fishes are mostly still all sleepin - not a sight of any pan fish but the young pickerel are cruising and starting to get hungry.
I really like to see when you interact with the public. It’s nice to see you being an ambassador for the sport, and I would like to see some more of those interactions with your streamside fans
I tried fishing in my greenway just last week with just about the same set up. but our water is up a lot higher and running a lot faster. Can't wait for it to settle so I can get back to creek fishing!
The excitement I feel when another Creek Fishing Adventures ultralight video posts...the only thing better is catching fish myself. Brother John giving Fishing tips to the youngins'. Love that. Our Cub Scout fishing trips and derby were like that. My son is wearing them out with a 1/80 jig, wax worms and a float on his 5 foot light action spincast outfit and 4# test. I'm helping the others remove the catfish and shark fishing hooks and baseball sized bobbers from the bubble pack combos. The size of the bait and presentation are king. Nothing a barrel swivel and #8 snell can't take care of...
Those bass are the coolest, I’m ready to pack up and move to Tennessee, can’t beat creek/river fishing. I studied that bible verse earlier tonight, good times
John , Great Video and Outstanding Information, tips and tricks. Thanks for sharing of your time and knowledge and wisdom and experience , your hard work. God has Bless You. God Bless. Tim L.
Hi, John! Nice intro. Like it when you go back to these little creeks, too. Most of us started fishing in these as kids, so nice memories. I do think you were being a bit too kind when referring to all the trash in the water. It’s not the creeks’ fault it runs through a community. It’s people, plane & simple. Each of us need to make a more concerted effort to properly contain trash to keep it out of the trees, creeks, and landscapes. Great channel!
Hands down this is my favorite type of fishing, just going out ultra light with a little trout magnet or trout slayer and catching all the little guys that everyone passes up. I don't understand the hate from the fishing community when it comes to small fish. They're still fun!
What a fun day at the creek. It was definitely worth the trip. 8 species is pretty impressive. I've always had fairly good luck with the trout magnets. I have 3 rods that I use. A 5'5" ultralight, a 6' ultralight and a 6'6" medium light. All three have produced good results when fishing the smaller waters. I'm so glad that you keep your videos down to earth and friendly. You are at the top of the list along with Cole and Jay, for my favorite videos.
I have the TFO Trout-Panfish UL in 6’-6” and love it! I also have a TFO Professional 7’ Medium for Inshore. I’m interested to see what else they sent you.
Yessss ! A Creek. Fishing. Adventure !!! So happy to see that little waterway come alive. So many Coosa bass in there. Thanks for the content. We love ALL your videos ! Where's your next kayak tournament at? Just remember, always be safe. Randy B.
It's the same story down here in Louisiana - the last few weeks of February were in the 80s, so I went to one of my local haunts. The first time, I had to work hard to catch two longears (the default creek bream in this area). Two days later, I went back, only I went back in the woods a bit, away from the road, and I found the bass - two spotted bass (the local name here is "Kentuckys") and a nice largemouth. The stream was still pushing a bit more water than I like to see, but no complaints.
Got my first ultralight rod today with a few micro lures. The fish may be small but they put up a good fight using these rods, so many big bluegill and small bass.
I love these videos. I've not had much luck in creeks but I'm getting better. The Greenways up here don't have much access to the creeks from the banks.
Great day on the water, but those koosa bass look like they would be a good fish to keep in a 240 gallon fish tank I bet with a nice river scene it would display amazingly, great video 👍
Was thinking watching last episode you hadn't mentioned catching any cusa bass in awhile.hope I spelled it right Always love the content and all info you impart to us the viewers, thanks
I like casting the trout magnet but my favorite way to fish it is with there tiny bobber. Something about watching it sink and not know what's on the other end. I caught a few nice smallies doing that last year. Letting the current take it and the fish tare it up. Brown and rootbeer are my favorite color. 👊👍
😂😂😂 “ who walks just to walk”. Sometimes I do take walks with my family without fishing. I generally make sure those walks happen near bodies of water I plan to fish in the future but that’s unrelated.
I recently looked at that exact rod. I have a TFO fly rod and they make some nice stuff. I'm a Cashion Rods (made in USA) guy, so I went with their 6' Ultra Light panfish rod, looking forward to getting it out on the water.
Hey John hope everything is going good for you. I love throwing a trout magnet for sunfish and panfish. I have often wondered, does having light line on your reel help you throw longer distance with really light baits. I think i have 6lb braid on my spinning reel.
did you ever consider the creek boat m12 when looking at a watercraft of sorts? LOVE your videos, just now checking out the creeks in my area and i have had good luck with the trout slayer. caught a ton of sunfish! Thank you!
Love your style nothing like getting some no matter size or species, I went yesterday for 2 hrs & caught 2 bass & had a lot of other bites, but I was throwing a bait meant for crappie! Great video!🎣
Adding to my comment earlier about cusa bass,we don't have cusa, rock, shoal, or other bass strains other than Largemouth1,smallmouth, and striper bass here in Ca. Central valley. Can't help but wonder why?
I'm from south florida, so we mainly have pretty big fish & big open lakes. But It's refreshing & interesting to find a channel with a totally different fishing style & environment. Nice catches man!
Sweeeeeetttt I was like number 801!!!🤘🤘🤘🤣🤣🤣 Love your channel Brother!!! Thanks for all your uploads! Your the main reason I started my channel! Thank you for your inspiration broham!🤘🤘
I've been watching Creek Fishing Adventures for years now! Absolutely LOVE this channel. John certainly has the BEST fishing channel on youtube. Next to mine of course LOLZ ;) So happy for your success John. Keep up the great work!!
BEST fishing channel on UA-cam !!!!
I concur👍
I agree!
By far!
Yep.

It’s always nice to see a creek that is flourishing with all types fish another great video
The speed you put out so many videos is amazing! Thank you for great content we never get bored.
Just came in from splitting wood, got cleaned up and settled in. It’s always nice to find your videos. Thank you.
Ultralights and trout magnets turn any slow day of fishing into fun. I always take both in my kayak.
The amount of videos you put out is super impressive.
John, love your passion for fishing those small creeks and the pleasure you get for catching God’s little creatures. Blessings, Rob

Great creek adventure. Thanks John!
Love the intro nature scenery! Nice touch.

Great video, John. I can’t wait until we catch up to you weather wise.
For the price a little trout magnet kit cannot be beat for the panfish!
John , Great Video and Outstanding Information, tips and tricks. Thanks for sharing of your time and knowledge and wisdom and experience , your hard work. God has Bless You. God Bless. Tim L.
Absolutely loved the intro! Nothing better than catching fishing in front an audience.
These are always going to be my favorite videos.
Thanks John! Great video! Certainly looked forward to and enjoyed!

Would be curious how many times you lose a lure, finessing like you do...

Always look forward to this content. A definite highlight for me. I can relate to the creek theme....
This is my favorite fishing channel thank you John for sharing with us

There should be a trout magnet kit in ever tackle box!
Very picturesque in that place where you are! Keep rippin the fish we will keep watching!
I love your enthusiasm!!! It is contagious!!! Great vid!!!!!!!!
Beautiful little Coosa Bass from that creek, nice day.
Yessss ! A Creek. Fishing. Adventure !!! So happy to see that little waterway come alive. So many Coosa bass in there. Thanks for the content. We love ALL your videos ! Where's your next kayak tournament at? Just remember, always be safe. Randy B.
I wish we had those little bass around my area. That would be my go to Saturday morning.

Great video John. Love when you fish the small creeks
Great video John! The Temple Fork rods are really nice. So much fun with ultralight tackle!
Man , you cast so good through all those trees and things. I would have been hung up for sure.
Nice one! I was out a week ago and caught some clubs and shiners at the creek. Hopefully the gills and bass will be starting to bite!
This is my favorite fishing UA-cam channel!!
I went thru Chattanooga on I-24 About 9:00 this morning. Was that you standing in you kayak in the rain?
Do you put on extra weights for trout magnets?
no i havent
Got my first ultralight rod today with a few micro lures. The fish may be small but they put up a good fight using these rods, so many big bluegill and small bass.
Awesome! Finally a creek fishing adventure!!!
It’s that time of the year again.
@Creek Fishing Adventures Oh for sure! You are the man John! I live vicariously through your videos. Keep on keeping on!!
GOD has truly blessed you John and your vids are a blessing to thousands thanks 🙏🏻✝️

Coosa i believe
gotta love a good ol multi-spices lure...

Man I’m in Wilson county area. I’m hopeful for warmer weather for fishing. This video just got me fired up!!!
I’m in WV and all I am getting so far are shiners where I’m at. They are feisty. The bluegill aren’t actually trying too hard yet.
My brother got lucky and caught a nice sixer on Sunday. Hoping to go myself this weekend if it's nice enough here in KY.
Thanks John for sharing, slow and falling lures get great bites.
Dude you had me like, "today's the first day of spring??"...Funny intro!!
Just went creek fishing today because of you it was so cold but worth
Those were pretty bass John. Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your whole family...🙏❤🙏❤🙏😊🙂😀
These are my favorite type videos and what originally attracted me to the channel.
Great work!
Wish I could do them all year but I need active fish
😂😂😂 “ who walks just to walk”. Sometimes I do take walks with my family without fishing. I generally make sure those walks happen near bodies of water I plan to fish in the future but that’s unrelated.

Look like a spring day.Keep ketching those fish. Thanks for the video 👃👃👃👍
Great guy me and my buddy see him sometimes at the hiwasee river
Hey John hope everything is going good for you. I love throwing a trout magnet for sunfish and panfish. I have often wondered, does having light line on your reel help you throw longer distance with really light baits. I think i have 6lb braid on my spinning reel.
I'm excited to try my creek. It's full of Trout, Sunfish, Creek Chubs/Shiners, and some Bullhead. No bass sadly that I've ever seen.
Looks like spring feels like spring smells like spring must be spring!
Cousa bass are a neat looking little bass, in AZ we have small mouths in the warmer creeks same size never grow big.
Maybe went I get back to Tennessee we can organize a creek clean up day. What do you think?
Back to your roots! Great day on the Greenway!
Fanboy
Big shiners!

Jon, are there any catfish or eels in that creek?Sometimes when l fish small creeks l will have channel cats hit on-line spinners.
You’re the best, John !
Creek chubs make the best catfish bait you can get! I bag and freeze em and also, keep em alive in a bucket for flathead.
Love the kusa bass John...
Awesome, now the question is, which do you like better ? The light or the ultralight, for the creeks ?? That looked like a lot of fun !
Hmm do I like that 6 ft size for small creeks like this. I’ll have to use it more to test it out
Slow rolling Beetle Spins works too.
Awesome creek adventure for sure. Well done sir🤝🏼
Great video showing us the TFO ultra light. Is the coosa bass a protected species in TN?
No they are actually in a few creeks their not native too, and in the few they are native in they do great
Dude!!!! Save those for live bait adventures.
You were slaying the Coosa Bass.l wish they were in North Carolina.
10:47 Hair-lipped Coosa Bass! 😂🤣😂🤣
John you make me wish I was back in Tennessee.
Love tfo. What's size pflueger is that?
the smallest one, i cant remember the number
Great video John! I love seeing you fish with a TFO rod. Not a better one on the market for the money in my opinion. Tight lines.
you tossing that baby bass had me rolling🤣
Adding to my comment earlier about cusa bass,we don't have cusa, rock, shoal, or other bass strains other than Largemouth1,smallmouth, and striper bass here in Ca. Central valley. Can't help but wonder why?
Hi, could the Stone-roller be something similar to the European Barbel?
I bet the spro 40 frog would be crazy in the greenway, especially by the dodge place around all that grass.
I was looking at mine recently wanting to use rhem
@@CreekFishingAdventures that’s scary, I was cleaning my vehicle out and found my spro 40 and was thinking the same thing lol
I'm from south florida, so we mainly have pretty big fish & big open lakes.
But It's refreshing & interesting to find a channel with a totally different fishing style & environment. Nice catches man!

"I don't walk just to walk, who does that..."🤣🤣🤣
Nice fishing videos sir🎣
Sweet fishing!
I've been watching Creek Fishing Adventures for years now! Absolutely LOVE this channel. John certainly has the BEST fishing channel on youtube. Next to mine of course LOLZ ;)

Wow, thanks so much
What area of Big Creek are you fishing?
Was hoping it was gonna be crappie nibbles Jon 🤪🤪🤣🤣 hope you are doing well!!!!
Haha. You got those covered
@@CreekFishingAdventures oh yeah 😎 when can we meet up to fish you think??? Sulfur Fork Creek or wherever is good for me!!!!
