I have said it before numerous times on other sites, but I say it again. The potential of this great little 'game' [ if we can even call it that] is just phenomenal. So many things that could be produced for this would bring this game to life even more. However, we have to remember, that this game was designed by only TWO developers To put in the game all those things that we would love to see would take massive programming for only two people. We can but hope though, that bit by bit they will be introduced in time.

I watched this video on Sunday morning over my early-morning tea, having never heard of this game before. Once up, I came downstairs, went into Steam and bought it - thank goodness it's not expensive. I have a lot to learn but I've been enjoying it immensely ever since, and haven't done quite as many chores as I should have! So glad UA-cam for some reason suggested this video. One thing I've enjoyed watching out for is when a sheep opens an umbrella and floats up into the air for a few moments, before drifting back down - I'm not sure whether the player triggers that somehow or whether it's random! It's silly but fun - however the real satisfaction is in putting together the structures to create something that looks realistic.

I love the building in this game so, so much, but I also know what I'm like. In any game, from Rimworld, to CS, Project Zomboid, to Sprocket; the payout for investing the time in building something nice is that I then get to watch it being used, or use it, over many hours of gameplay. I guess that, for me, building is a means to an end, not the end within itself. Which kind of sucks when a game like this comes out lol. I envy those who build simply for the love of building.
I truly hope these devs either add some kind of ongoing after-build sims gameplay to this game, or go onto use the building system in other games that have sims and after-build gameplay.

After the frustrations of the base building engine in no man's sky, which, while allowing for some crazy builds, required you to constantly argue with the glitchy engine. I wonder if an upgrade might include exporting your design as an STL file to 3d print it, that would be amazing.

Please do more! You are so creative I am totally wanting to see what you can do with it! I'm not sure if my computer would handle it but I want this game. What a great thing to play and waste time. I would have loved to have this once we had internet again after the storm. Kind of hard to download atm. Do more so we can watch you please 🤩 Very unique game!! I'd play for hours.

3:15 I'm so relived that he used the word "Charming" and not "Satysfying" as the rest of the youtube world would do. Everything seems to be "So Satysfying" nowadays, it's depressing.

18:30 oh, ffs no... I've refunded many a "relaxing game" because they couldn't keep their hands off of "goals" that you had to complete in order to get more colours, whatnot. This is obviously best as a creation tool, and I would want to disble any visible menu-item that enables competition. Enough stress in my life and other games that lend themselves to opt-in stresses.

Very similar to Townscaper, if anybody was curious for another example of a procedural diorama builder, also very relaxing and charming, but with a seaside village/island setting 👌 Although certainly Tiny Glade seems more focused on smaller details like textures and individual objects, it looks fairly more complex than Townscaper.

I've played the demo. The mechanics are really good and you can build beautiful things with it. But the lack of people, milestones and challenges did convince me i would get bored with it very quickly.
If you just like to build and play in this wonderful fairyland this is an amazing game to do so

What they need to add is some light gaming like putt putt courses and maybe some physics games like throwing balls through moving hoops type of thing. You can create the whole thing to play and it be part of your little world.

This is great, it even shows how cities might have become, Theres a castle, and then they need an extra house outside, for maybe more workers, then they need one more maybe, then someone else hears theres few houses there maybe they need to trade, trader comes, sees its a good money to be around these houses and the castle, decides to settle, another house. he builds another one for his kids, kids create their families, more people are created, more people move in, the castle and supporting few houses becomes a tiny village and slowly grows more and more. over time, the family in the castle might be gone and its left abandoned but the town around it continues business as usual, the community is no longer dependent on the castle, the castle becomes a landmark, a tribute to towns history
