This game reminds me of a game that came out a few years ago called townscaper where you can build on a slightly bigger scale than this, if you liked this game u should definitely check it out if you haven’t already
Townscaper was my therapy before this but this game has so many secret building mechanics that I took over an hour to learn them; and it made me realize just how much potential there is with so few building options.
This building system is amazing! My main jams are Rimworld and Space Engineers. I would be the happiest little builder if I could have this kind of intuitive procedural construction in those games.
It's really fleshed out I am completely satisfied but as a human I ofc want more like interior designs and all but man how simple their controls are is just amazing ( I believe we can use it as an asset engine itself to make a game in it ... that's how good it is )
I am loving seeing everyone try Tiny Glade builds. The only other Procedural Builder I can think of that works even remotely as well is Dungeon Alchemist, but that's meant to build single buildings/rooms for RPGs.
I'm so glad I found this video. After the frustrations of the base building engine in no man's sky, which, while allowing for some crazy builds, required you to constantly argue with the glitchy engine. (Which could be exploited to make some amazing stuff) but it was frustrating, and detracted from whatever payoff you get from the finished build. This bucolic game is just what I need right now. Thanks!
I love these procedural cozy building games so much! I wish we had a modern city builder that uses this tech and artistic skill. My favorite thing to do in SimCity 2000 was to just customize the tilesets and plop medium-sized cities.

I love the building in this game so, so much, but I also know what I'm like. In any game, from Rimworld, to CS, Project Zomboid, to Sprocket; the payout for investing the time in building something nice is that I then get to watch it being used, or use it, over many hours of gameplay. I guess that, for me, building is a means to an end, not the end within itself. Which kind of sucks when a game like this comes out lol. I envy those who build simply for the love of building. I truly hope these devs either add some kind of ongoing after-build sims gameplay to this game, or go onto use the building system in other games that have sims and after-build gameplay.
