I replaced mine and everything is great but now the door is super tight to close, and makes a popping sound each time I open it…almost like it’s ripping out the foam. What can I do? I can tell it’s the side where the hinge is…that’s the side that is creating the issue
Nice if you have a deluxe door frame in your home with the channel you show here. My door frame is much cheaper, with simple edging framing the jamb to receive the door. My seal has to be nailed to the edging. Not as ‘clean’ as you showed…

I noticed you didn't use magnetic stripping for the front door any reason why you don't use magnetic? I'm curious I want to replace mine I noticed it was magnetic do I need magnetic?
