- Part 2 of Can I beat Pokémon Black 2 with only Dark Types using Hardcore Nuzlocke Rules?
Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch the first Dark Type Pokémon on each Route (Species Clause); This includes Pokémon that evolve INTO Dark types, but does NOT include non-Dark Pokémon that evolved from Dark types!
3. Nickname Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode

i feel like they chose to make absol a speedster because it fits into a classic archetype of glass cannon that crits a lot and those are usually fast.still dont know why greninja isnt a speedster but oh well

That weak armor fight with Yzma was so impressive. Watching you go from complaining about the ability to using it to your advantage was great!!

Alright, time for the reverse Endgame. After Thanos ruined the villains' plans, they're back for revenge.
So the AI in this game doesn’t recognize zoroark when it’s disguised as something else even if it’s disguised as a grass type and uses flamethrower, this leads to a super fun strat on the psychic elite four Caitlin where you lead zoroark disguised as a poison type and she always goes for psychic so you just set up and sweep
I found this put by pure accident, but the Zoroark levels up too fast

This may sound odd, but I like the random fluke deaths that happen occasionally, especially in this video. Despite how well-prepared and hard you work for these runs, you are still human and a mix of silly mistakes and bad luck can happen every now and then. Maybe it’s just because I have more silly mistakes in my challenges than I’d like to admit, but I appreciate the realness it brings to your challenges. And that makes it all the more impressive when you do fly through the game without any silly / random deaths, because those are easy to accidentally let happen at one point or another. Good video Flygon, I like the splitting into multiple videos idea :)

You should be glad that you are not doing hard mode. In that attempt cheren uses a pidove with quick attack
I actually want to see flygon do a nuzlocke in hard mode. doesn't even need to be a monotype nuzlocke, but if he did that would be an added bonus. maybe with an easier type like water or fighting

I liked the two-video style. You ended on a failure but had tried your hardest, and then came back later to turn it around. This has been a fun journey and I would have enjoyed it even if this time had also failed. Thank you for bringing us along!

I’m almost positive gen 5 AI doesn’t understand illusion, I remember cheesing the Caitlin fight as a kid by disguising my Zoroark as Emboar and watching her spam psychic moves until her whole team died
I think that's the point of the ability lmao otherwise it's a useless ability outside of pvp
Gen 8 ai doesn't either. Cheesed all of Bede's fights with my Zoro disguised as a poison type.

I just got my hands on a original copy of black 2. BW2 are the only mainseries pokemon game that I havent played yet and I didn't want to use an emulator or repo. I can't wait to finish the game and finaly watch your bw2 video's without being spoiled!!
