I scratchbuilt my farm in Stardew Valley

- I made a Stardew Valley diorama, which I've wanted to do for ages. I use foam core, a lot of polymer clay, cereal boxes, y'know, the standard stuff. There's so much more that I wanted to say about the game, but I ran out of narration time. Stardew Valley has great music, that's the thing I really wanted to mention but didn't. Also, I forgot to paint my dog. He is a good boy, he deserved better than that.

I love this! My favorite is the fat cat but all the little plants and the greenhouse and the preserves and kegs and everything is so detailed and beautiful, I love how it turned out!

Highly recommend the board game if you can find a copy! The second printing was a lot easier to get. My partner and I play it together (we also play stardew co-op). It takes like 2 days to get through a game, but the pieces and cards have so much fun detail and tactile feel.
Edit: also, you are SO talented!! The greenhouse hinged roof was so dope. Instant subscribe. Can’t wait to see what else you make!

Aww honestly it just takes practice like anything else, time and practice 😋 We’re all at different stages with different things, you just gotta stick with what you want to be good at, and what you make will get a little bit better each time. I don’t have to tell you that if you’re awesome at art drawing, I’m jealous of that 😊

I like Stardew but my heart belongs to Minecraft, haha. So much cool stuff in this build! Those little cauliflowers are cute as hell. I really want to try out that UV resin you're using, too. And the static grass flocker is suuuper neat!
Yeah that resin is fun and pretty easy, you should give it a try. I’ve been wanting to try to put a shiny seal on some clay things too. Minecraft is great… but maybe I’m too much of a capitalist… I need to make money and have spending goals haha 😂 And monsters that only live in the mines. Thanks for watching 😊

Last time I played I tried out a mod that made the pathways into factorioesque automation routes. Finally made the artisan farm fun :D
Big project, cool to see all the different processes :)
Ha that sounds like a crazy mod. I’m always leery about too much automation, after a point it’s like “Have I sold out?” 😀

29:58 an easy way to get ride of hot glue strings is to use a hair dried so they heat up and disappear

Like sometimes the voice loses the voice and gets rumbly? I’m not sure how to describe it. I personally just find it a little hard to listen to, might be some misophonia or something. It’s not all the time, and a lot of people do it. 🤷♂️

If you're using an epoxy based glue (superglue for example) it dries really quickly with a spray of water, alternatively if you have a humidifier running close by. This however makes the glue a little more fragile, but for models I think it would work fine :)
That’s interesting, I’ve never heard that. I always see people use those accelerator sprays, I just didn’t want to buy an extra thing. Thanks for the tip!

You could always hire someone to do voice overs for you if it makes you self conscious. Like there’s so much pressure for UA-camrs to do everything themselves, but it’s hard to be your own editor, sound designer, camera operator, voice actor AND make the art you want to make as performance art for the camera. If something is not your strong suit, and you’re not concerned with growing that particular skill for yourself, I’m sure you could find someone to collaborate with who would make your job easier and your content sound cooler
For me, I just try to have fun with it and give an authentic version of myself, it’s my work and I like to talk about it.I don’t care to have the polished vibe a lot of channels have, because I value authenticity more. My personality is just part of the experience I figure. It’s not for everyone I know 😸
I adoreeeeee Stardew Valley , it helped me in my bad days . You should try a game called Sun Haven , you ll love it .... Saving this video because it has many of farming stuff which I adore and tons of little tutorials for different objects that can be use in anything ♥
