Thank you so much for watching! We had so much fun building this project! 🌱 We'd love to hear what you think of our Junimo lamp, and feel free to share your own cozy game inspired ideas!
You could also use yarn! Mozekyto is a doll artist and makes little wigs out of yarn wefts. I think you could do something similar and get pretty results! I'm not sure if time would be saved, but you can always modify it to work better for you! I love the lamp tho, I hope you get to enjoy it for a very long time! 🎉
Alcohol ink also works for dying fur smell but fast I literally just used marker I had, you can also use rubbing alcohol to make washes and thin out the color. If color seems to be bleeding wash under cold water and dry.
I’m so glad the algorithm blessed me tonight with this project knowing I should be sleeping and not getting art ideas at 1 am 😅. The result is precious and hope you’re excited for the switch/mobile update this week! 😊
Thank you so much for watching!! Your kind words and support mean so much to us and we're big fans of you and your amazing creations! ✨ We are so excited for the update coming!! Can't wait to play! 🌱🌟
@KaypeaCreations your head and editor Sarah's stability needs no extra chaos lol xxx so happy to see one of my favourite creators find a new artist at the same time as me ❤❤❤❤🌱⭐️
This is amazing! At the start of the video I told my husband "if this is relatively easy, I'm going to make this" I'm now at the end of the video and realizing the cost of materials would put me in debt. You guys did great with this project and I'm jealous I don't have my own junimo lamp!!
Same, but I wonder if I can get a set of star shaped string lights, and attach little junimos to the bottoms... Aluminum to bulk out their bodies to cut on clay costs.
@@ursulalala8477 That sounds so awesome!! Airdry clay could work so well for that! It's fairly light weight and pretty cheap(a big tub of kids airdry clay vs multiple packs of small polymer clay), won't need the aluminum, won't need put them in the oven, and it's easy to smooth out finger prints via a little water! Best of luck if you decide to make it!! :D
As someone who died a lot of fur in the past You could have made it much easyer on Yourself by using the wet method. With that You desolve the acrylic paint in lots of water and then soak the piece of fur in it. Then You hair-dry it while constantly brushing so the fur doesn't clump together. It would have taken only about an hour with a piece of this size. By using different acrylic paints I always get very nice color-varations and You could have added more with drybrushing but propaply cutting down the time from 3 days to 1. But the overall result is great, the lamp looks amazing!
Out of clay he looks like a giant chocolate drop with candy eyes. So cute. I love this project and want to play stardew valley so bad but don't have an updated console nor do i have a gaming PC
28:29 small tip for cutting furs! use an exacto knife rather than scissors to just cut through the back of the fur. This helps to not end up with not a lot of loose fur flying around :3. Great video as usual! It turned out so cute!
omg not only was this project extremely labor intensive but the editing for this video must have also taken a ton of time and effort! It looks amazing, congratulations!
The end result is so cool-looking! I hope you can get a sponsorship deal with smooth-on or something; i can't imagine how expensive this was to make! Looks great!!
I absolutely love this! One of my favorite things in Stardew is that the junimos on your farm can change color (put a Prismatic Shard in the junimo hut).
The vibes of the video are the same as the game and I found it so compelling and cute. You guys did an excellent job and I am excited to see what you do next!! 💜
Absolutely obsessed with this guy, and the attention to detail!!!! A tip for smoothing monster clay, you can use alcohol or a heat gun to smooth the surface to a shine without the need for the spray coating, at least for the one part molds. Less dry time, and you can read the clay much easier!
just an absolute wonder of a project!! i rewire lamps for fun, but this is on a whole different production level. loved the process and the quality of the video, transitions, attention to detail, etc. let alone the lamp. can't believe yall dont have more of a community, im glad to find it now. :)
I was doubtful of the fur/grass situation at first, but I do think it ended up being the perfect solution for cozy lamp vibes with all the little details added! That's one adorable and well done Junimo lamp! I'm feeling inspired- I think my next cozy game project will be a crochet tapestry of the inside of my house on Fields of Mistria!
We totally agree! Painting the fur was very nerve-wracking because we had no idea if it would really work but it turned it great and we're so happy you enjoyed it! A crochet tapestry sounds like so much fun and we bet it'll look amazing! We'd love to see what you create! Thank you for watching!
Absolutely adorable and beautifully done..The Junimos will be soo proud of you guys❤.. For your next project can you please make a baby enderman with glowy eyes .. Thank you for blessing us with this beautiful project!
Thank you so much!! Crafting a baby Enderman sounds so cool and we will definitely look into it as a future project! Thank you so much for the suggestion!
I am so thoroughly impressed by the impeccable creative minds and drive of extremely talented and crafty people like yourselves. This was absolutely incredible to me and such a fun thing to watch and experience! ❤
I love the fur! It's so cartoony. It fits the vibe of game grass so well. I'd love to see it used again if you ever did like a mario sonic or zelda build where you need the cartoonish vibe. I also really wanna see this lamp in game I think that'd be a really cool reference and earnable reward
Thank you so much, that's so kind!! We would love to do this method of grass-making again in the future! And the lamp being an in-game, earnable reward would be a dream come true!! ✨
I'm not sure if these are the kinds of tips you're looking for, but hopefully they'll be helpful. First, you can save a lot of clay and effort if you use something inside of it as a filler, like an aluminum foil ball. Secondly, in the same vein, if you save the moulds you make, that silicone can be used as filler for future moulds. Third, I'm not sure if it would work with silicone, but I've seen woodworkers who make resin mould boxes use packing tape to line the surfaces. Fourth, it can be helpful to keep the mould box intact when casting in a flexible material, like silicone. It's probably less of an issue if the mould is thick enough, but a rigid box adds stability and prevents deformation. This was a cool project and a fun video.
I love the little Junimo! It's absolutely adorable. Another idea for a game based project could be a diorama of an animal crossing house cause I think that would go great next to Junimo!
I'm glad UA-cam recommended this video to me in light of my recently playing Stardew Valley and my love of craft channels. You seem very sweet and funny. You explain your process very well. Also the little humorous bits like your reaction to the light going out or Caleb's reaction to cutting the acrylic sheets convinced me to subscribe before even finishing the video. I look forward to watching more of your projects in the future!
Wow, thank you so much!! We're so happy you enjoyed our Junimo project, your support means so so much to us! We have so many projects planned that we can't wait to craft and share! We're glad you're here! ✨
HOW AM I JUST NOW FINDING YOUR CHANNEL?! This is what I want from UA-cam 😂 great project, even better execution, can’t wait to binge watch the rest of all your videos!!
You are extremely talented & so patient with such a hard and so much time consuming artwork. But at the end all the hardwork paid off it looks so so amazing❤
This is amazing! It really looks like professional stardew valley merch you would see in a store (and yes I would buy it if I could!) I love the attention to detail you guys put into your projects so much, everything ends up looking so neat and high quality. I think ConcernedApe would be so impressed with this creation and I really hope he sees this video someday.
I absolutely love this! I’d be so excited to see your take on Pikmin-they’re adorable, and with such a wide variety, there’s so much potential to explore!
I stumbled across you when looking for my bedtime video with my gf. I LOVE crafts like this and this is SUPER exciteing! Im so excited to have someone else to watch that isnt just nerd forge or kate and arron. This is amazeing and we will be long time fans for years to come. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Amazing work! So impressed by your work with so many different materials and techniques, and how you made everything work out for a stunning final result. 🌱🤩
You can put newspaper or craft paper or aluminum foil or whatever in the bottom half of your mold to bulk it out and then put a thin layer of clay over it so you don’t use so much clay. I do this for my 2 part molds and it works great!
I've been so excited for y'all to upload and it's a build from my favourite game??? ahhh y'all killed it! Junimo's are my absolute favourite part of stardew I love when you get them for the farm cause I get to watch them harvesting the crops and sometimes they go on little walks and just hop around and wave and adjfhsfg they're so cute 😭😭 your junimo lamp came out soo good especially the one with the rainbow effect, concerned ape has GOT to add one of those to the game next
We're so happy you enjoyed our project, thank you for watching! Your support means the world to us!! Stardew Valley is one of our favorite games too and the Junimos are so fun, we can't wait to play the game again with the 1.6 update. Thank you for joining us!! 🌱🌟
This is so cute! I wish i had your talent and do projects like this. Is so cool how it changes color. I think that Mr.Erik need to make more mission with the Junimos...I love them.
I'm so glad I got suggested this - this project is amazing! It looks so cute and sweet, and the amount of work you guys put in! The result is a reflection of how hard you worked - its sooo perfect and cute! Also, the camera work/video editing was so well done. Just a fantastic video about a fantastic creation❤
Wow, thank you so so much for your support! Your encouragement means so much to us and we are so happy you enjoyed our Junimo adventure! Thank you for watching!
This turned out amazing! The Junimo is soooooo cute. Props to the design, the electronic part, and the editing. Your video is so so fun to watch, can’t wait for your next project.❤
This is such a cute project! You guys did an amazing job even with all the set backs and it looks beautiful!! Ah it makes me want to play stardew valley again 🥰
I just happend to stumble with this channel, and... you have a new fan here. I love the results, and moreover how detailed ,careful and thorough the whole project was.
It turned out absolutely stunning!! I can’t put into words how much I’m impressed by both of your craftsmanship!! You guys radiate such positive energy and seem like absolutely lovely people :D Love the little jokes and small drops in professionalism in the video; they make it so much more fun to watch :) Can’t express enough how fantastic everything is! The project, the editing, the lighting, etc. absolutely phenomenal job!!! ❤❤❤
I absolutely love this! Small tip if you have to cut fur again, slip your scissors against the base and snip as close to the base as you can. You'll lose less fur that way and your edges will stay fluffy! Love th dry brush technique for coloring it! Once they fursuiters learn this, suits will be even crazier lol
For a large object like the junimo, I would recommend slush-casting, or roto casting. It uses WAY less resin and it isn't a ridiculously heavy bowling ball of cast. It takes a little bit of practice, but I've had great luck making lightweight hollow things like masks. For fur, if you don't want fur going EVERYWHERE (god, it's nearly as bad as glitter) try to only snip the backing, not the fiber. There will still be some shedding but not nearly as bad.
Weirdly, my comfort game is ‘my superstore simulator’. It’s not really a typically cozy game (it’s on mobile and you can turn off the WiFi to get rid of the ads) but the repetitive actions are really soothing for me. I enjoy sorting the stuff onto shelves and stuff so yeah
great build!!! so cute omg~!! one tip for cutting faux fur is to use a sharp blade on the backing or when using scissors make sure to only cut the back fabric~ (I like to use smaller scissors for it) it also gives a cleaner look to the edges as you don't cut off the fur midway! any cut fur is on the base~
With the fur you can kinda dip dye it with paint though it’s not dyeing in the sense of penetrating the fibers. Then dry brush extra details after it’s dry. As for some of your molding mishaps. It helps to pour a little of your material and rotate it in the mold as if rotocasting and pour it back out. Also helps with bubbles. Then pouring it all in as normal.
You two are so creative. I love that I’ve joined this community at the beginning as I feel like you two will be as big as Evan and Katelyn someday. Keep up the amazing geeky projects because they are amazing!
I'm not finished yet but so far so cute! Potential tips for making moulds of larger items, try the silicone mould with a jacket method. It'll save you so much silicone and I know how expensive that stuff is. Also if you forget registration marks, cut them out of the edge. Hope this is remotely helpful. Admittedly I worked on a much smaller scale!
Idea for a video, you could do a diy tools series like making your own static grass applicator, airbrush booth, or flock recipe. I know a zillion channels already do it, but would be neat to see your spin on it and would mean your tool collection grows!
Hey guys! Algorithm did its thing with this one!! Absolutely loved the video! Please contine making videos for us, there's always space for creators like you. ❤ Good luck, I hope to see you guys more often!
I happened to notice a slight color difference in the silicone during your final pour. Usually that means that some of the original solution (part A or B) got stuck to the sides of the mixing container and wasn’t evenly incorporated into the final mixture. It’s typically recommended that you transfer the mixture into a second container and fully mix the solution a second time to eliminate any potential errors in the mixing process. Of course, I’m not certain that that was the case for the project in the video, but I figured this info might be able to help out someone who’s new to mold making and casting! Happy crafting folks! ☺️
Thank you so much for watching! The slight color difference was most likely from a previous pour mixing with the current one because we got a bit lazy and didn't switch buckets - or because we didn't mix enough silicone to begin with and had to rush to mix more 😅 Your tips are super helpful though, thank you! Happy crafting to you too!
This is the cutest thing I have ever seen! I am amazed at how you handle the finer details; could not be me lol As for cozy games, definitely playing the Stardew update but I am getting into Fields of Mistria pretty hard as well. It's so good if you haven't tried it out yet! Thank you so much for the video and all of your hard work! See you in the next one!
For anyone wanting a cheaper alternative to monster clay for mold making, I’d recommend plasticine. It can be bought for cheap at the dollar store and craft stores and works the exact same way as monster clay.
This is absolutely beautiful! I don’t play Stardew Valley, just never had the time to really sit and play but always did want too, so I didn’t know about these cute little creatures 🥺 Your Junimo Lamp is so precious and something I would totally buy even not being familiar with the game. I can only imagine how rewarding it must feel to see your 2D drawing just come to life! You guys did an amazing job and it shows how much work and love you put into your project! I’m happy UA-cam’s algorithm has brought me to your channel and I’m quite shock you don’t have more subscribers! I am definitely giving a follow and can’t wait to see more content from you guys!! I’m a huge FNAF fan so anything FNAF (preferably Mangle lol) is something I always suggest because I have no self control 🤣
Wow, thank you so much!!! It is a dream come true to be able to not only draw these ideas but also bring them to life and it brings us so much joy and we are so happy you enjoyed our project!! We are also big FNAF fans (specifically Caleb 😊) so there will definitely be FNAF projects in the future!
Thank you so much for watching! We had so much fun building this project! 🌱 We'd love to hear what you think of our Junimo lamp, and feel free to share your own cozy game inspired ideas!
For colouring fur, chalk pastel also works like airbrush, but very time consuming

The colors at the end are amazing! I was worried they wouldn't show through but you blew my mind at how saturated the colors were.

This is such a cute project! You guys did an amazing job even with all the set backs and it looks beautiful!! Ah it makes me want to play stardew valley again 🥰
Thank you so much! We totally support you playing Stardew Valley again! 🌟
Super cute! looks like the best side lamp ever!
Thank you!! It is surprisingly bright! 🌟
Quick tip with monster clay: use a heat gun very lightly to smooth out the surface for a more polished look. Hope this helps!
Thank you! That's a great tip! We will definitely be doing this in the future!
I just happend to stumble with this channel, and... you have a new fan here. I love the results, and moreover how detailed ,careful and thorough the whole project was.
Thank you so much!! Welcome to the channel!
Wow this is amazing!! The resin work you did is so impressive!!
I just started replaying Spiritfarer, which is one of my favourite cozy games! Also careful, it may make you cry :'D
Thank you! Spiritfarer looks like a really cool concept and so much fun! We will definitely look into it more! Thank you for the suggestion! ⛵️
It turned out absolutely stunning!! I can’t put into words how much I’m impressed by both of your craftsmanship!! You guys radiate such positive energy and seem like absolutely lovely people :D Love the little jokes and small drops in professionalism in the video; they make it so much more fun to watch :)
Can’t express enough how fantastic everything is!
This is genuinely amazing, you deserve to go viral 😮
Thank you so much!
This is incredible, I'm shocked this channel only has 6k subs!
Thank you so much! Your kind words mean so much to us!
Thank you so much for sharing! Caleb really enjoys Supermarket Simulator, which sounds very similar!
@@SideQuestCrafting mine might just be the mobile version of superstore simulator or something! It does sound really similar!
For ideas suggestion: idk if you like one piece, but a walkie talkie denden mushi would be cute.
Thank you so much for your suggestion! A Den Den Mushi project would be so much fun! ✨
@@SideQuestCrafting thank you for reading my suggestion! I'm in love with your videos, I will be here wishing the best for your channel!
great build!!! so cute omg~!!
one tip for cutting faux fur is to use a sharp blade on the backing or when using scissors make sure to only cut the back fabric~ (I like to use smaller scissors for it) it also gives a cleaner look to the edges as you don't cut off the fur midway! any cut fur is on the base~
Thank you for the advice and for your kind words! That is a wonderful tip!
Thank you so much! Those are awesome ideas!
The whole style of this video was amazing, and the results were incredible! Good job 👏 😊
You two are so creative. I love that I’ve joined this community at the beginning as I feel like you two will be as big as Evan and Katelyn someday. Keep up the amazing geeky projects because they are amazing!
Thank you so much!! Your kind words means so much to us and we are so glad you're here! We love making these geeky projects!! ✨
Thank you! That is great advice and we really appreciate it! We've never tried the jacket method before, we'll have to try it!
Idea for a video, you could do a diy tools series like making your own static grass applicator, airbrush booth, or flock recipe. I know a zillion channels already do it, but would be neat to see your spin on it and would mean your tool collection grows!
Thank you for the idea, that sounds so much fun! We will definitely look into that!
So freaking cute! I also love the explanation about the electronics used in the project.
Thank you so much!
Absolutely adorable. I wish I had one!!
Thank you so much!
Hey guys! Algorithm did its thing with this one!! Absolutely loved the video! Please contine making videos for us, there's always space for creators like you. ❤ Good luck, I hope to see you guys more often!
Thank you so much! Your kind words and encouragement mean the world to us! Many more projects and adventures to come! ✨
Hot glue comes off the acrylic easier if you apply a little isopropyl alcohol to soften it up before you try to undo the mold boxes
Thank you, we will keep that in mind!
The slight color difference was most likely from a previous pour mixing with the current one because we got a bit lazy and didn't switch buckets - or because we didn't mix enough silicone to begin with and had to rush to mix more 😅
Your tips are super helpful though, thank you! Happy crafting to you too!
This is the cutest thing I have ever seen! I am amazed at how you handle the finer details; could not be me lol
As for cozy games, definitely playing the Stardew update but I am getting into Fields of Mistria pretty hard as well.
Thank you for sharing! That's good to know! Budget-friendly options are always helpful!
ya’ll are literally so talented! your video really inspired me to work on my art projects for college 🫶🏻
We are also big FNAF fans (specifically Caleb 😊) so there will definitely be FNAF projects in the future!
so cute! i've never played this game but this is adorable regardless
Thank you!!
I want this in my home so bad! It's perfect!
Thank you so much, that's so sweet! We're so happy you like it!
