I never expected to watch a clay video today and I’m so glad it was in my feed. You did a great job with lamball and this video. love it!

Really cute! The texture looks so nice. But what amazes me most is the dedication you put into the base! cutting every single gras triangle?! I felt the pain 😂
I love Lamball's stupid cute face so much and you captured it's cuteness so well. Lamball seems to have caused quite a lot of people to become obsessed, myself included. I'm currently looking for a fabric in my stash that has a woolly texture (I believe it's faux sherpa?) so that I can draft up a pattern (easy peasy) and make my own Lamball plush.
Lamball is definitely one of the few pals that just live in my head rent free. It so cute and dumb. Also, this is super great and well made, Love the little details and weapons you put on this little soldier. :)
Seriously, you and North of the Border have inspired me so much with your crafts! So much, that I actually went to the store to try it out myselfe. And what do I say, I failed miserably. But in hindsight, it made me appreciate those builds even more, because now I know how hard it can be and how much effort you put into it. Thatk you so much 😁!
How interesting! I really enjoy sculpting, and this topic seems quite fascinating. Sculpting a lamb from Palworld is truly intriguing and creative! I've always wanted to draw inspiration from experiences like yours for creating artworks like this. 🎨
This is SO CUTE! I hope you’re so proud of your work, I love it! This game has been my most recent obsession and I’m so happy to see such amazing art being made of it. Well done! Thanks for brightening my day!
I just discovered your videos, and can't thank you enough. I've been watching clay modeling videos for a while, but never really understood the techniques and tools they used. My results were always disappointing, even after watching tutorials. I though I didn't have the talent, or not the right tools. You explaining everything you're doing and why is insanely useful. I've quit modeling for years out of frustration, you just lit a new flame in me. I need to buy a new batch of clay, and some paint. Thank you so much!!!
So glad to hear that!!!!! It can be so frustrating sometimes but picking it back up is a wonderful thing, update me with pics when you finish a project, would love to see it!! Making mistakes just means you're getting better :) Good luck!!
This is sculpting on Next Level. Well Done! now that people know you can sculpt Lamball, other Pals from Palworld are sure to make it on the "I should do one of those..." list.
I just found you yesterday and you are already one of my favorite youtubers!!! I love how you show textures and how you sculpt!! I also just love the way you talk and the sound of your voice :D. Also love how you said "while our lamb child burns in the oven" it made me pretty much cackle XD Love you and keep up the amazing work!!!
so cute! and i love the little added detail of the guns and grenades, it really does scream palworld at a glance. another idea could be a pal relaxing in a hot spring, for something more simple maybe a cremis or mau in a basic one or for a little more complicated you could put a pal in the high quality hot spring. katress looks pretty cute curled up in one and the stupid smile and waddle of a dumud always puts a smile on my face.
man you make it feel like you have like 1-2 million subs! In terms of quality, enjoyment, confidence in the voiceover. Idk how to articulate it but I am always surprised that you "only" have 30 k subs
This is absolutely adorable! And for adorably dumb characters, I recomend Dumud. Watching them flop around everywhere, knock pals out if they get in the way cracks me up. I'm also a huge fan of Cognito. Such a fun walk!
Wow!! it's amazing how beautiful and lifelike works of art you can create!♥️ I really like Lamball :) but my favorites are Nitewing, Kitsun and Eikhdeer. Let's say actually all of them
love the wittyness and humor of the voice over the editing reminds me of studson studios (not saying its a bad thing or you're copying them, what works works well) don't shy away from puns i heard "quicksand" and i thought there would be a visual gag lol also great work on the model very cute love how satisfying it looks to see you applying the paint and the result is just 👌
This is soooo cute! Your humor and art reminds me of my other favorite sculptor, North of the Border. Was just wondering, what kind of recording equipment would you recommend for a beginner who would like to record their sculpting process? Thanks!
I have a super simple setup (that also looks very busted, but it works!) I use my iPhone to record everything, for the majority of the video it’s just set to the standard HD 60fps but for my final shots I’ll mix it up with some cinematic and 4k shots I have two very cheap Newer lights (one of which is taped above my setup with dubious amounts of painters tape, the other is to the side on the little tripod legs it came with) And I use a gooseneck tripod attached to my desk to adjust my phone as I film! Hope this helps and let me know if/when you ever post, would love to watch!
Honestly I probably should’ve, that sounds much less time consuming! I imagine they have little triangle rollers to cut the strips even faster too, but my old, fragile 22 year old mind cannot keep up with all this technology
That’s adorable! Do you think you could model the lamball(s) from the title screen that are manning the machine guns mounted behind sandbags? That’d make for a really cool project!
The sanding is a crucial step that many polymer clay sculptors forget about or neglect to mention. Much like with paint, epoxy, glue, etc. You are not really making a chemical bond to the underlying surface as much as you are making a mechanical bond. If you don't rough up the surface a bit then your next layer may not adhere very well.
This is the fitst time I saw someone doing this and I love it!! And, I think I want to give it a try 😅 do you have any tip or videos you recomend to start. Like, what you need to start, how to do things... 👉👈
Honestly, you don’t need much! That white clay I use is only $6.54 for a big block, lots of art supply stores and big retailers sell polymer clay now so it’s very accessible! There’s also more than just polymer clay out there, you could try air dry clay which is also pretty cheap. You can really use anything to help you sculpt, most of my supplies are from super cheap sets of sculpting/painting tools but you can use just your hands, pencils, plastic knives, tweezers, really anything around your house can work as a tool for art! I like to decide what I want to make first and do a mock up sketch of the character and the base I want them on, for that I use a free art program called Krita that’s really great, but you can obviously sketch it on a post it note or just a loose piece of paper. It doesn’t have to be super detailed or anything, just get an idea for the pose you want your character to be in and what you generally want the base to look like! For me, lists help guide me for what I should do, so if they help you then here's a quick guide that I typically follow: 1. Come up with an idea I want to make 2. Sketch what I want it to look like (how do I want the character/creature posed? what do I want the base to look like? What colors do I want everything to be? How big do I want it to be?) For this step, I'll browse google images and Pinterest to help me decide what I want it to look like! Most of the time, I combine ideas from many different photos, so maybe I like how a sculpture did the grass in one picture, but I prefer how someone else did the rocks in another picture! 3. Start sculpting! I try to do big, general shapes first and add the details on top of it in the most convenient order. So, for example, I added Lamball's eyes very early despite them being relatively small because I didn't want to have to drill into the face and the eyes helped guide me into making the wool around his face look right. 4. Paint! I like to do big areas first, so for Lamball his wool was first to be painted and all the smaller features came next. 5. Stare at your creation and marvel at how adorable it is! In terms of videos, I'd say it isn't a one size fits all for what helps people create, but for me I like to watch these people to get inspiration: Stuson Studio: www.youtube.com/@StudsonStudio North of the Border: www.youtube.com/@NorthoftheBorder Down the Hobby Hole: www.youtube.com/@downthehobbyhole NerdForge: www.youtube.com/@Nerdforge WuzuClay: www.youtube.com/@WUZUclay Bobby Duke: www.youtube.com/@BobbyDukeArts All of these channels are great to learn how to do what they do, and they all have a lot of cool innovative techniques, but for channels specifically geared to be a bit more educational on techniques, these are my favorite: AceofClay: www.youtube.com/@aceofclay DonnaKato: www.youtube.com/@DonnaKatoArt TheCrafsMan: www.youtube.com/@TheCrafsMan Remember that everyone has a different process for creating art, so if you think you should sculpt the smaller parts of a craft first and that makes more sense to you, do it! Lamball seems like something I’d see in a fever dream.
Nooo
Make that into a video lol 😅
This sums up palworld nicely.
"Heres a cute little dumb thing,
And here is its gun"
yeah pretty much :)
only in palworld
"For His Neutral Special, He Wields A Gun."
its the US in a nutshell.
"Go commit a crime"
"i wanted to go pretty simple with the stand, so i cut out 3,000 individual triangles for the grass"
all jokes aside, this looks awesome :)
You've got to appreciate how unapologetic the humor of Palworld is. This is great.
