I dont get build up cause i take them out after two weeks i use minimum product on my baby hairs and for moisture i use water and a oil mixture in a 360 spray bottle❤️
Dara Abasute i took them out so long ago but all i did was cut before my locs and unravel it the opposite way so and gently undo the knots at the roots so it wont get stuck in your locs

I have 114 i use two locs sometimes one going by size i would put one small one with a big one to make two
