I just did this style ,locs at the root to cover my natural hair then twisting the rest of the water wave hair down, and I thought I made up a new hairstyle!😂😂 this is so beautiful and I'm glad you did this! My water wave hair is 27 btw and I'm so happy 😊 I feel like an actual goddess straight out of bed no make up. What a lovely freakin hair style! You go girl!

I crochet the back half and do the top half in plaits. Thread them fhrough and then wrap...a lotta work 😂 I wrap each individually on others, but NOT on my own 😂

Do your locs have to be mature for this I was planning on doing this in my month and a half old locs ...it’s two strand twisted if that makes a difference 🥴

Just FYI you wrapped the faux loc the wrong way around your loc. That’s why it unraveled.
I tried wrapping against the direction and with and each time it unraveled :/

Didn't realize I could crochet hair into my locs. Was it annoying/hard to take out? I want soft locs but IDK :/
it wasn't hard since I made it into a wig, but the pieces that were crocheted were annoying b/c the hair was just so frizzy
