Clonidine is an a2 agonist, just a quick correction for completeness sake Amazing series, have been watching on repeat for the ACJ exam Could you please create a series on prescription writing, errors and mistakes? I know you have a lot on your plate, but you also have an amazing style and it sticks with me ❤
INBDE Bootcamp is a great resource! I recently made a video about it, and you can use coupon code mentaldental at checkout for 10% off :) I recommend focusing mostly on practice questions for the last month, and Bootcamp would be a great platform for that.
Just want to add a note for 8:20 -- cocaine is a local anesthetic like the other -caine's, but it's the only local anesthetic that is a vasoconstrictor! Lidocaine and Septocaine (and the others) are vasodilators.
Just want to thank you for all your work. You are highly regarded among the dental community, especially the younger generation that uses your videos. Id love a video all about appropriate prescriptions and prescription writing. But i know you already have so much to do. Thank you again!
prescribing opioids to patients who are demanding and refuse to leave until you prescribe -- should you call the cops, prescribe, call their primary physician?

Hello Dr.Rayan Im not sure if you have any clue about my question but i was wondering if your videos are enough to prepare for AFK ( fist exam of canadian equivalency process ) or there are differences !!! Thank u in advance
There is a lot of overlap between the exams I help students prepare for and the AFK exam! But to be sure, you should confirm which material is relevant for you. The one big difference is the AFK exam uses the two-digit FDI tooth numbering system instead of the Universal system.

Is there an oral medicine text youd recommend for us dental students to use?
Yes! I recommend Little and Falace's Dental Management of the Medically Compromised Patient: amzn.to/36U9TIC

Hi Ryan,
Is the mechanism of action of opioid anticholinergic?
It primarily acts on the mu-opioid receptor, but has some anticholinergic properties!
@@mentaldental Thank you Ryan!
