This is my review of the Edelkrone JibONE. This little device is an all in one device that can do swings, pans, and slides. It can single handily replace almost all other sliders and motion devices. When coupled with a head plus unit, it can reproduce a lot of slider like effects as well as vertical and diagonal swings. If you're in the market for a slider, I highly recommend checking out the JibONE to see if it's right for you.

    Hi SuprUsr Stan,
Nice video on the JibOne. I have their last version of the Slider Plus Pro + Headplus. Thinking of getting this so this video setup is useful.
    A have a couple questions:
    1) can you do a tutorial video on using the app as I struggle to get two key frames to move simultaneously? I went on Edelkrone website but they skip a lot of steps for a beginner;
    2) I see you’re using the PD tripod. Is it too light as when I put the slider on a light tripod and the setup is heavy, it will tip over when I have the camera parallel to the slider and shoot towards a product. It tips over when it reaches the end. I guess it’s basic balance but just though the center is strong enough for the stated weight limits in the manuals
    Thank you!

Great video. I was always wondering whether the PeakDesign tripod could handle the JibOne&HeadPlus fully loaded which I assume it could just from the sheer specs but wasn't sure about the actual reality. Well, alongside the jib review itself you've also provided the answer to that. Whilst I'm aware its probably bordeline it seems to be doable. Thank you very much for that. All the best with you're next endeacours.

Technically you’re over the weight spec with a fully loaded jibONE. You need to tighten the clamps get get a little more force to prevent it from sliding down on its own. I actually almost returned the PD Tripod until I realized I could increase the clamping force.

I’ve just received the same combination.
    2 questions:
In terms of weight and balance, do you like to use the head plus in ‘normal’ orientation on the jib one or upside down, so to speak.
    Second question,
Can u make a swing with the jib and at the same time do a rotation with the pan-motor from the head plus as well ?
(I mean without the setup tipping over).

Hi im wondering is your headplus having any issue like vibration or jitter during sliding or tilting ? Will recommend to buy it ?

The headplus is a dream to work with. It is smooth and silent. The headplus is actually more reliable than the Jib IMO.

@@SuprUsrStan hi Stan, so if you would need to chose between jib and sliderplus which one would you take? I dont have budget for both, and as i see, jib is not perfect...

@@laszlocsori7277 if a slider and head plus can satisfy your needs, go with that combo. It’s more reliable IMO.

Did you replace your original slider with the JibONE? Just wanted to get your thoughts as i'm looking at purchasing either the JibOne or your original slider setup. Would love to hear your opinion. Keep up the great content.

I was originally going to let my slider go after picking up the jibONE but I’ve decided to keep it since the headplus pro and slider plus pro works well with the C200. The c200 is too heavy for the jibONE. I think even with the jibONE the sliderplus does have a place. The slider plus is quicker to use and easier to setup. The jibONE is a bit finicky to adjust when you have all of the weights on and the camera attached. You need to dismount to adjust and then remount. I keep the slider for slides while the jibONE does vertical moves. I’m sure get both isn’t want you want to hear but that’s what I decided to do in the end.

I’m not sure I understand. All of the parts are either from the head plus kit or the jibone kit.
