Here's a quick discussion about the strengths and weaknesses of the JibOne versus the SliderPLUS. I've owned both of mine for a while now and this is my conclusion for these two amazing pieces of equipment.

Hi Stan. Thanks for the great review. Very helpful. You mentioned the straight linear slide, which is cool, but of course, that has its own drawback, as when the slider is at the centre, it's actually closer to the subject than when it's at the extremes.
I wonder if you tried to point the camera backwards with the jibone? With a longer focal length and a higher position, it makes sense that the jib can be kept out of the shot. And it would give a nice arch, but in the opposite direction to the usual one.
Would that work? That move would definitely help me decide which is best for me.
    Thanks

Do you notice more or less tripod wobble with the jib? I'd assume less because of the counterweights? I have the SliderPlus Compact, with the Headplus V2 and to eliminate wobble I have to put the legs at the widest setting which limits my vertical reach substantially.

I think we have the same tripod (Manfrotto 190).. I'm worried about the weight limit on this model of tripod vs my rig.. Have you had any issues with the Manfrotto 190 with you Jibone setup?

have you ever experienced jitter or extreme shaking with your jibone? I purchased the jibone + Head Pro + Pan Pro - spent $2700 and the device is jittery. the footage is unusable and I need to get in contact with them because at this point I just have a $2700 hunk of metal that angers me everytime I look at it.

Hi stan. I finally got my jibone pan pro and headplus. Quick question. I have a low buset nikon d3400 with a cheap low budget lense that doeant have stableization built into the lens. My footage with the jib setup isnt smooth. Is this coz i need a better lens woth stablization or do i need to play around with the tension etc on the jibone?

If it's not smooth, I'd look into the adjustments on the Jib. Is it vibrating or is it surging? During my troubleshooting, I found that the main tension need to be AS LOOSE AS POSSIBLE as long as you're not slipping and failing to move. Also, the dampening screw on top near the battery also needs to be as loose as possible, as long as it won't fall out by itself loose. Tighten that only if you're doing stop motion shots.

@@SuprUsrStan thanks il experiment with this tomorrow and yes i am looking to do stop motion in the future when im able to get a suitable camera. Its not vibrating or surging but its defo not smooth and do u find the silver round peg at the fromt thay comnects to the headplus cant support the weight of the headplus? I tried tightening it as miuch as possible but it span around nd made my headplus underhang. Scared me for a moment thought it was gonna fall of. Now im just using camera hung under.

I really liked your video and would like to Thank you for the same. I have 99% decided to go with Edelkrone. Due to some negative review by some people i am afraid and confused. Some have even compared Edelkrone with Rhino Arc II. Some of them mentioned in the review that, The combo SliderONE & HeadONE are The kings of jitters !
Can please highlight on the same. Thank You
