If you want to add a 3 inch turn down at that part where you said the flexpipe is, you can. Just go to a muffler shop and have them weld on a hanger and done. Full 3 inch open downpipe exhaust and no reduction.

Sounds like a Diesel Eco haha, but trust me i know the feeling. Ihave a 3" cateless DP, Y-pipe and muffler delete. Mine sounds a little less raspy/exhaust leak sound. I actually love the sound, but it's just a little to loud. I live in Canada, so during winter time, below 0 temps, a cold start is very ugly and LOUD lol. Once up to temp, it really isn't to bad. I will be getting a well resonated exhaust in the future tho. I would like to get the Tomei single exit, which isn't well resonated, but comes with a 3 stage silencer, or the Full-Race street exhaust. Those are the 2 top ones on my list, but there are others to.
I just bought a magna flo street series, it took a long time checking out different exhaust. I want something that sounds deep and more look a high performance 4 cyl turbo. High performance look an Audi or porshe! I know it's a mustang but it's an everyday driver, I'm impressed with the power, ivthink this exhaust sounds much better than a fart mobile.

It's not worth the saving of 5 lbs and having the car sound like this. I'd rather keep what you have now and ad some titanium or aluminium piping from where your exhaust stops now and just run a single pipe out back on one side. A pipe only that length you need won't add hardly any weight really. It's literally like what? 5-6 feet ? If it's too hot still for use of aluminum pipe in the middle of the car then go titanium if you're so concerned with weight. Even just completing the exhaust out back from where you cut it off would make huge difference in sound. Just my 2 cents. :D

Once you run into a monster sounding V8 you'll shut up and drive. That's why I said fuck it and got a 2016 5.0 that is a beast on the block..nice car though!

11's with a conservative tune how; I get the stripped interior but that's serious numbers what other mods beside straight pipe
If your looking for a good exhaust get the MBRP custom...doesn't sound super loud but makes the noise more refined and a little bit louder
