BOV/exhaust/intercooler/tune. Safest strongest setup unless you wanna build the motor and go crazy. You can always swap in a better slightly bigger turbo as well if you wanna push to the recommended limit. But if you constantly do fully WOT pulls make sure you have the funds to build that motor when it goes
If you wanted the v8 why didn’t you just get that. I drive a mustang eco boost because I prefer 4 cylinders. It’s ju😢kind stupid to compare a v8 with a v4 without the other 4 cylinders.
If the dealer is saying they will not honor your warranty because of a cold air intake they are lying to you. And if they did decide not to honor the warranty, they would be in violation of the Consumer Products Warranty Act of 1975 also known as the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. The ONLY way they can deny your warranty is if they can prove that the part you installed WAS the definitive reason for the failure of whatever it is that failed, not a "possibly caused" but a "definitely caused".

Im late to help but if you have active exhaust it might take away the different sounds for different modes but you should be able to get it put back in
You will still keep your warranty even if you go and install all of these mods. The only way your warranty is "voided" is if your car has a mechanical issue and ford can prove that your modification caused the failure. So don't go and spend $700 on a feckin' air intake and what not. Grab a K&N for $200 and install it yourself and bam.
Hey, do you have any numbers about what changed with the bigger intercooler you were talking about? Did it give any horsepower or is it only better for endurance/pulls? I'm thinking about getting an upgrade. I'm not racing really, but on the autobahn here you can easily go >120mph for prolonged amount of time and wonder if it will be worth it and if it gives you a performance boost in 'slower' situations.
Sweet video! Picking up one soon, not much of a mustang person and I drive a hybrid now, this car stock isn’t going to spin out on me right😅 also are they reliable??
Victor Martinez Yes it can, but i will advise against it. If you can afford it, get the exhaust and the cold air Intake at the same time. If not get the cold air intake and tune first.
Elvis Car Reviews awesome, thanks for your help, I was also wondering if I do decide to get the exhaust and cool air intake, the tune is optional right?
Will the MBRP Catback void your warranty? Will an Inter cooler void it? I’ just bought a 2020 and don’t want to have the warranties voided if I make changes to it.
I know this is a month ago. But to give you a better idea. It will void any warranty if they can PROVE that that part is the reason something broke. In the case of the intercooler, CAI, or exhaust. It is damn near impossible to prove that an engine blew up because of those mods under factory tune. Because at the end of the day the mass air flow should control how much air is going into the engine and the ECU should control the turbo spool/boost. Consult with your dealer if it makes it safer but I have seen people do these things and be denied of warranty and threaten to call a lawyer and the dealership crumbled and did the repair. They wont do that if they KNOW what you did broke the car. This is based off multiple personal experiences

supremesoldier354 I don’t think it does, not too sure about that, but don’t have it installed at a dealer and keep your stock exhaust somewhere juste in case. Make sure you pair it with a tune
supremesoldier354 any modifications done to your vehicle will normally void your warranty. If you don’t have to actually chop your exhaust you might be able to get away with putting the stock exhaust back on after something happens to keep your warranty, but it’s risky. If you have a warranty and want to keep it, I recommend you don’t do any mods

Naerel James Unfortunately Ford hasn’t released a power pack for the 2018 to 2020 Mustang yet. But some independent sellers actually sells power packs for the 2020, Roush has one, American Muscle have a few listed on their website, but they won’t keep your factory warranty if you install it.
coming from an ecoboost owner ('17), all of these except the ford tune will void the warranty so actually commit to it. BTW, literally putting anything on it that isn't cosmetic voids it so careful
Just purchased mine about a month ago! Still all stock besides some cosmetics, but I love it! I have a few questions, I'd love to know what you think. What's your opinion on a blow off valve, this makes the turbo louder, right? Does a new intake give a louder "whoosh" noise? What main differences did you find with the power pack? Have you tested before and after 0-60s? Best I got stock so far was 5.3, but haven't gotten that again, even though the car "can do 5.1" with the PP. Once I have some extra money I hope to make it sound better and get some more performance without breaking the bank!
So what is the total horsepower on this car? I just got a 2019 eco and was planning on upgrading it like this but I kinda want to get a 2008 vette and modify it but I didn’t know what would be the better option. Mbrp race or street? Any issues with sound in the cabin? I don't like when the sound is too loud that makes my dashboard starts making noises. Thanks
Race
It’s surprisingly quiet at low speed no rattle or shakes
Why does your mustang say svo? Mine says turbo
Brian Turner
It’s just a logo I bought online to remember Ford 1st 4 cylinder mustang which was called the SVO
I own a 2017 ecoboost and was wondering does the MBRP race exhaust void your warranty?
supremesoldier354
I don’t think it does, not too sure about that, but don’t have it installed at a dealer and keep your stock exhaust somewhere juste in case.
@@trezzer53 ford had a tune kit that they made to put in your EcoBoost to to boost HP but not void your warranty you just have to have it installed by a ford dealership
supremesoldier354 well yeah, if it’s approved/ done by a dealership then go for it, but most modifications will void your warranty
@@trezzer53 your warranty is only voided if the installed part caused the problem and then if that's the case only that part of the warranty isn't covered.
your eco is fukin sick mate!
Do you think these mods can apply for the Ford Mustang ecoboost 2020?
Naerel James
Unfortunately Ford hasn’t released a power pack for the 2018 to 2020 Mustang yet.
But some independent sellers actually sells power packs for the 2020, Roush has one, American Muscle have a few listed on their website, but they won’t keep your factory warranty if you install it.
Awesome!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
does ford void your warranty if you change the intercooler to aftermarket ones?
lee speed no

Thanks
nice graphics. where did you get these?
Ted Bennett
On americanmuscle.com
coming from an ecoboost owner ('17), all of these except the ford tune will void the warranty so actually commit to it. BTW, literally putting anything on it that isn't cosmetic voids it so careful
Is that buffalo ny? 😮
Illuminati One yes
Just purchased mine about a month ago! Still all stock besides some cosmetics, but I love it!
I have a few questions, I'd love to know what you think.
What's your opinion on a blow off valve, this makes the turbo louder, right?
Does a new intake give a louder "whoosh" noise?
What main differences did you find with the power pack? Have you tested before and after 0-60s? Best I got stock so far was 5.3, but haven't gotten that again, even though the car "can do 5.1" with the PP.
Once I have some extra money I hope to make it sound better and get some more performance without breaking the bank!
I just got my 2020 Ecoboost Mustang last week
Congratulations
So what is the total horsepower on this car? I just got a 2019 eco and was planning on upgrading it like this but I kinda want to get a 2008 vette and modify it but I didn’t know what would be the better option. I know the vette would be way faster but if I am make the eco decent I’d be fine with that.
nice video! and I have an eco boost too, but I do not know how to remove the speed limit in 80 miles
杰弗孙刘
You need a tune. A tune will remove it
You can buy it from the ford performance website or on CJ pony parts
What size rims are you using? And did you used spacers?
Orlin Zepeda
19”
And no I didn’t use spacers they weren’t rubbing at all
How did you add the stripes on your car?
ojtorresjr
I bought them after market and I had them installed
what % tint is that?
35
Where did you get those lights?
On CJ pony parts website
how much does it cost for the tune and intake?
?
So does it void the warranty ?
Seyi Ores if done through a ford dealership no
Does it have to be in that order?
José Guzman
Not necessarily
But I will highly recommend the cold air intake first
What year is your EcoBoost?
